While I don't have the PCC, the manual batteries are nice and other than one with a button issue (warranty replaced with no issues and faulty batteries happen), they're going strong as my main vape. Atomizers have lasted me 10 days for the first two I ordered (which is typical for me) and 21 days for the most recent (which is really good for me), with excellent performance right up to death. No complaints, and planning to order more. I totally recommend the whiskey juice, by the way.

10 days? wow. Ive been vaping on my 401 attys for 2 months now with no problems.

I do have a preference but it is just my opinion. I think the itellicig evo atty's are much better than the regular 401 attys' BUT the manual 401 battery is the best yet.

I currently vape a manual 401 battery with an EVO atty and love it.

Only problem I ever had was one time the button stuck down and the atty got really hot but the button was easy to "unstick" and no damage was done.

Good luck. I recommend Litecig for the manual battery and Innovapor for the EVO atty.

wow! Markule! what are you doing to your attys? lay off that manual button lolol. I am on day 114, running 6 genuine Smoore atomizers right now on automatics on a daily basis with different flavor carts parked on them - all are going strong, and don't ask me the last time I cleaned them cause I wouldnt' be able to even tell ya - maybe 3 months?

lowkick - Eastmall is a good company - they are active on their subforum thread and I haven't read much bad about them. I really like their charging case for the EM4. I'd shop there but I think their prices are a little high - more retail than wholesale.

If you can live without that, and prefer to shop stateside (are you stateside?), check out litecigusa.net for their pricing - they have quite a few different packages and it's a two-day ship. Intellicig.com has them (called the EVOlution), myfreedomsmokes.com also has them, and so does tastyvaping.net (a little pricier but they offer an extended warranty option and choice of battery color/atomizerband color/led color). All of them have very reasonable eliquid prices too.

if you have two batteries, charging each twice a day, thats 100 days of battery life. I lost two in the first two months from newbie mistakes, like overfilling the cartridge and flooding out the atomizer which leaked into the battery, then I learned, and haven't lost a battery since, although the 5 I'm rotating and get charged at least once a day are coming up on about 115 days each, now, so I'll knock-on-wood at that one.

Your mileage may vary, but I really don't think my experience is unusual with the M401s. I simply like them.

general info on the M401/EM4 can be found here:

Hope this helps!

Wish I knew why my atties never last. I had one of my first ones (heavens gifts) last two months in rotation, while others lasted two days. I've ordered
from multiple suppliers for batts and atts, and they just never last for me like others report. Which is why I always say how long it lasts "for me". And yes, I read up and tried cleaning, drying, never drying, cola, vinegar, citric acid, baking soda, ect, ect. I've been through more than thirty atts since starting in may, took many apart. Some were gunked, some looked clean, some I found broken connections, some not. I do try to keep them from getting hot, but have had some get activated for long times and melt carts and work fine.

Frankly, I've given up trying to figure it out. If an att lasts a day per dollar cost, that's my mark to be cheaper than smoking (including juice, batts, carts, ect, ect, ect).

YMMV. But the eastmall are the best lasting for me that I've found.

Can I ask you a couple questions? Maybe we can shed some light as to why your atty's are dying so quickly.
You are using a 401? correct?
So it would be an exposed atty.

How much do you vape a day? (ml)

When you refill your carts, are you always just "topping off" or so you remove the filler and rinse and refill?

DO you drip or dip?

Which of these methods do you use most often?

What kind of filler are you using?

Answers to these may help.

The EM4 kit manual. I am switching from an RN4081. Are there any issues or anything I should be aware of before buying. Are there any better 401 kits that are better? My budget is about $30How long do the atomizers last? Only thing i'm concerned with is it says life of battery is 200 charges. Are there any better kits in this price range?

Thats an M401 that is possibly assembled by eastmall themselves and not a Smoore product.

I recommend the original Mseries from Smoore (the manufacturer)

I've really got to get myself a Smoore M401. Just to see if they really are as good as Fedor keeps telling everyone.:D

The EM4 is a fine 401 & now EastMall have dropped their minimum order, it makes them a much more viable option. $15 isn't bad for shipping from China, especially if you are buying agood sized order.

These folks have the same kit for a few dollars less shipped and they are in the USA. Eastmall is OK but their 15.00 shipping is a deal breaker for smaller orders. You would think that they would be cheaper then they are.
absolutelyecigs is in China so far as I know and their shipping is $15.00 flat rate. I've never ordered from them so I could be wrong. Maybe you meant to list another supplier in your link?

Uh oh, your right I meant to give another link from my favorites here. I have not checked their prices there but they do have the smoore's 401's. Sorry, my bad.

m401 is my only device. Actually, right now all my parts are EM4, for what that's worth.
I vape about 2 mL a day, but it's hard to tell since I change up flavors pretty regular. I always use carts, refilled with liquid. Filler gets washed sometimes, basically if it starts looking dirty or isn't wicking dry. Mostly I use a pin to push out the inner cart, then to push the filler down a bit (it always compacts), put in a few drop, use pin to lift up the filler so it sucks up the liquid, push back down, add liquid till full, pull up filler, repeat until all the air is out, and make sure the filler is up at the top when I'm done. Silicone cap pushes the inner cart back down. The carts are pretty dry when they taper off, so it's using up the juice. The juice I have is from assorted vendors. Usually I mix about 10% VG, just seems to wick better and I like the increased vapor.

I've tried drip and dip, and it worked, but prefer simplicity of carts. The filler is whatever was in the cart. I tested some of the cart mods and wasn't impressed enough to bother with them.

I just want to be clear, I'm not complaining about equipment life here, I'm getting my money's worth as far as I'm concerned. Sure, more would be great, but it's still cheaper than smoking for me as is.

Doesnt sound like anything you are doing would be causing your atty's to fail so quickly. I am wondering.. do you hear a gurgling sound when you vape? ALso do you ever get leaks between the seams of the atty/battery?
