I'm missing the "edit post" button

I like to edit my posts, 9 times out of 10, it's a spelling mistake. That kind of stuff really bothers me. I was told that it should be in the lower right corner of my post and look like a pencil (after I post) and that it will go away after 24 hours. I've clicked on every clickable thing in my posts and still can't edit my posts. Is this a glitch? Something related to being a newb? Punishment from the vape Gods?

and of course as soon as I post, I get the edit post button... The mods are quick today.
Edit: But I still can't edit my posts in the Vamo sub-forum. Not even ones I posted 10 minutes ago.

Try clearing your cache, cookies, temp internet files and reboot. You might try logging out and back in first.

I did all that, and I still can't edit posts in the Vamo sub forum. I seem to be able to edit posts anywhere else though. It's just one of those things that will sort itself out over time, I expect. Thanks for the advice.

It could be that the Vamo subforum has a minor issue there, as it is a new one, and sometimes all the permissions don't transfer correctly.

PM the Forum Manager and ask him to take a look.
