Hi,

Just found your forum, and I wanted to say hi, and introduce myself.

I'm a girl from Seattle, now living in Sweden.

I have been a smoker for around 36 years (2 packs a day for 20 years)... Now trying to move to vaping.

When I was looking for a place to buy my refill cartridges, I found your wonderful community.

The E-Cigs I have tried are V2 Cig/ Vapor Couture .. So, far I like them,
but, having issues with the online stores in the EU, either ceasing shipping to
other EU countries, or, raising their shipping prices from FREE to raising the
shipping to €31.... Yes, that is 31 Euros!!!
So, needless to say, having a bit of bad luck with the e-cigs lately.

So, anyway.... I was looking around for a new brand, when I came upon your
fantastic vaping forum.


So, here I am... Greetings from Sweden!!!

Nicotine

A "general guideline" for nicotine concentration in e-liquid to the number of cigarettes smoked per day. If you are subohming (resistance under 1.0Ω) cut these nicotine levels by at least 50%.

06 mg = 10 cigarettes or less
12 mg = 20 cigarettes
18 mg = 30 cigarettes
24 mg = 40 cigarettes

eLiquid/Juice

PG = Propylene Glycol - the "flavor carrier" of e-liquid. A secondary source of "throat hit", but not as strong as the nicotine concentration. Some people have a sensitivity or even an allergy to PG. It's very thin.

VG = Vegetable Glycerin - the "vapor maker" of e-liquid. Used as a sweeter in many food sources, and also as a skin emollient. It's very thick. Often labeled just "Glycerine"

PG and VG are often used together in different ratios in e-liquid. For example, a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. Some juice vendors offer a range of different ratios as far as PG/VG.

Also, thank you for the info... I am pretty new to all of this.
I have been buying the vape e-cigs... that look like a cigarette,
with the pre-filled cartridges .
I have been getting so sick of the issues with this type of e-cig...
such as not being able to buy the re-fills due to shipping changes at some
web shops.. UUUgghhh...

Today, I bought myself a eGo Starter Kit... I think it is called the eGo A1...
It comes with 2 vape thingy's.... LOL.... (I don't know what they are called... )
and I also bought some 18mg Mocha Latte liquid.
It will be here next week... I am looking forward to getting started with this, and finding your
forum, will be a great help... again, thank you for making me feel so welcome in your
community.

Yes, I am moving WAYYY past the V2 and Blu...

I was able to find a Swedish online e-cig shop. (Not sure if I am allowed to name the shop.)

To be honest, I don't know much about the laws here regarding e-cigs and vaping.
Lately, I have read horror stories, on how they want to ban e-liquids... etc.. etc.. etc..
This is just crazy in my opinion.

Last year, I was diagnosed with early stage emphysema.. Of course I still smoke... UUgghhh
the smoking is no problem.. it is the breathing that is a b!tch...
Hopefully, this new vape starter kit, will help me this time. 3rd Times a charm, as they say.
