Hello everyone!
I'm new here. I smoked for 15 years. I am about to turn 33 and do not want cigarettes to control my life any more. I bought a Blu ecig a few months ago, i hear different reviews on them. It works ok, I am looking for something better though. I'm glad i found this forum and look forward to getting lots of great rips and information:)

My suggestion as someone that just got vaping as well. I was using the V2 e cig to start and then upgraded. My suggestion is getting an ego twist or vision spinner, an iclear 30 clearomizer tank, and a bottle of juice in whatever flavor sounds good ( i use 50/50 vg pg usually with a double shot of flavor)All together i spent about 60 dollars, which is 40 less then the kit i got with v2. It works amazingly better and will last alot longer (the v2 kit came with 10 cartomizers, which last me all of 3 days, where as i got 2 30ml bottles of juice which will last me weeks). Hope this helps :)

My wife and I started with the Fin cig-a-likes from Wally World. Got us off the analogs. As had been said, if the Blu is working, keep using it. You will , however, eventually want to upgrade. See if you can find some others in your area who vape - seeing people's setups in real life really helps in deciding what you might like. This forum is also full of people who can help you navigate the many, many choices available.

And most importantly welcome and congratulations on quitting!

All good advice, for a newer vaper I second the Twist/Spinner idea, about the size of a cigar with a dial on the bottom that allows you to adjust Voltage. They use a charger style similar to the Blu, you screw the charger onto the threads. Refilling juice delivery systems with your own juice will save you a lot of money over prefilled cartos, and open up a whole new world of flavors.

Spinners and Twist are an ego style battery, they have 510 and Ego cone threading, allowing you to chose from a vast array of juice delivery systems. But they are fairly simple to use, have a decent battery life, and are fairly easy to carry.

Congrats! New here too, just changed to vaping since last ... last night. When I decided to go for it was after doing lots of reading around the forums as the cigarette types I had tried in the past just didn't work for me. Seems there are so many types out there though that it all gets confusing. If you found a type that worked first time out you did really well. I am on my 3rd attempt after two cigalikes, went for something different and finally seem to have found a match for me.

Congratulations.
I started the same way. I used Blu's for about two months then upgraded to Volts. The batteries were DOA so I looked around and upgraded to Ego's and CE4 clearomizers with juice from Mt Baker. Total difference. One thing I definately learned from thsi site is that everyone is different and although the blus did last for me they may for you. If not there are a ton of affordable options.

Hi Missy. I'm new as well. Started off with Blu Prem 100's. Blu’s taste is good, but the batteries don’t last long enough; cartridges are very inconsistent (can't refill); has no throat hit, and seem dry when puffing. Since I ordered the Blue on their website, I was able to get a refund. They reluctantly refunded my money I might add. Made a change to the Halo Triton, and w-h-a-t a change it's been!!! The Triton is soooo better - that there's not even a comparison. Recommend you give it a try.
