I use the geekvape S100 and the vaporesso Gen 80s. The GTi coils are harder to find so I often use my Zeus tank on the vaporesso box mod. I don't understand the box mod completely but I find that I get a better hit from the vaporesso box mod. I honestly thought the hit was determined by the tank, but I have so much to learn!

I also am experimenting with making my own juices because my tastes lean sour and store bought sours are not! Cola and orange cream are also strangely absent from most vape stores.

I welcome any suggestions for recipes or products.

I actually joined to answer a question about a vaporesso box mod that I recently purchased. I had been looking for days to find an answer and when I did, I wanted to share, but the thread was closed so I posted it without any context!

For better or worse, I'm here!

Well it seems there is a question yet of a sort: why do you like one better than the other?
It may be the atty not the mod if you’ve never swapped the atty. they should both have a standard 510 connector so you can put either on either. Also if one mod has settings you like better you can change them

what is the atty? if I have to ask this I probably haven't!!

I feel like the vaporesso base with the Zeus tank provides more flavor vs the geekvape but I just got more coils for the vaporesso so I'm going to compare them side by side with fresh coils and provide more info shortly!

Atty, atomizer. The tank, in this case.

Yes, different ones do perform differently. And changing coils (the REAL atomizer, the rest is just the container for that and the juice) to different styles (along with different values, of course) will also affect the vape.

Finding the combination that works best - FOR YOU - is key.

As said, most tanks will have the standard 510 connection to the battery / mod, so mix and match to suit your tastes. Then stock up on that.

The “atty” is the part where the juice is vaporized and sometimes also held. For a long time now a screw on connector called a “510” has been an industry standard, so most mods will take most attys and you can mix and match as you like. This is not the case with disposables or “pod” systems. They have an atty too, but it is integrated into either the pod or the device itself. They are usually proprietary (It creates vastly higher profits for the manufacturer). One of the reasons the 510 became popular. The makers of the blu(who originally created the 510) messed up the patent somehow (I forget the details) and it worked well enough so pretty much everyone uses it. To the point that I won’t buy a mod without one.
