Hello, my name is Richard, im new here, registered to ask this question, but i think i might stay :)

I have an innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 pro with a isub G tank
It has been working perfect for 2 months, but one day, while charging my phone with it, i think the battery was completed on the MVP, and now its impossible to turn on..
I have tried charging it with multiple cords and outlets in different houses, and on my computer, but nothings work, its a complete black out on it, any time i try searching for answers to if its completely broken or if its a way to fix i dont find my exact problem..
I really dont want to open it and try to fix it that way, but i will do if its the final solution, i have messed it up before on other devices when opening it

I would really appriciate any help on the matter :)

Hi and welcome! And do think about hanging around, as folks will try to pitch in and help answer questions. The MVP pro 3 you have has a built in 4500 mAh battery that is not serviceable by you. It is supposed to have a built in protection to prevent the Lipo battery from being discharged beyond the point it can no longer be recharged. It sounds like that might have failed on yours, and you drained it down charging your phone beyond what it should have allowed.

If you've had it for only 2 months, contact the vendor you purchased it from and see if it is still under warranty (could be 90 days, depends on the manufacturer so can't answer that one off the top of my head). If it is, send it back for servicing.

Generally, when using a high current battery as found in your mod, you're probably better off relying on it for it's primary function, vaping, and pass on the charge other stuff with it feature. Hope they fix it for you.

Edit: Oops fixed it. It is NOT serviceable by you.

I have a 10,000 mAh little brick I carry for emergency charging when traveling and a plug is nowhere to be seen. The maximum draw it supports is 3A, so I can use the 1A and 2A taps simultaneously. I think it was ~$20 on Amazon, and I got one for my daughter and one as a gift for a friend. It's the best way of having power on the road. Mods, not so much.

Innokin make a solid consumer product, and they put a lot of work into safety. But like anything, failures can occur. In the future you might consider buying mods that use replaceable batteries. If one dies, you replace it easily with another, rather than your current situation. Those usually don't offer functions such as acting as a charging station either, better for you in the long run.:)

Hi and welcome to ECF. Whilst one's first-ever vape hardware failure can be an unnerving moment, it is also a good opportunity to remind oneself to purchase back-ups, and then back-ups for your back-ups. Be careful though as this is also a gateway towards Shinytis ;)

You may have just completely drained the battery. If that's the case, it may take some time on the charger to be responsive again. When vaping, your device will cut you off long before your battery completely drains. However, I'm not sure, if this is the case, that your device would be safe to revive. I'm not particularly well versed in internal batteries beyond ohm limits. I know trying to revive a completely dead battery is a big no-no for removable batteries. But unless you get a solid okay from someone who knows what they're talking about, I would just buy a new device (perhaps one with removable batteries?). Better safe than sorry.

Also, my other question, how the heck did you charge your phone with your mod? I'm not super familiar with your device, but I wasn't aware that any mod had a USB port.

MVPs have been promoted by innokin years it's ability to charge a cell phone. Yes there is a usb port at the base of the device.
Since battery management is controlled by the chipset, it should not discharge into oblivion.
Try charging with usb switch off for 12 or more hour. Charge in a 'safety' box to prevent unintended surprises. Don't worry if charge lights etc aren't energized..
