I ordered a SmokTech SID and a kayfun lite tank online and my tracking eventually said it was delivered, but I had no package and was anxiously checking my mail everyday. 7 days later, I report a missing package with my post office and 9 days later, I find out that the mail carrier misdelivered it to the wrong house..

Today the carrier was supposed to be going to said house to try and retrieve my package..

But that [Moderated] has had my package for over a week and I have no doubt in my mind that they have opened it and is probably using it at this very moment. :(

I still have to call the post office tomorrow for a follow up on their attempt to retrieve my stuff, but I guess I'll try and keep positive. All day at work I was just imagining some random person using my new mod. :(

What sort of person keeps others mail??? I would have trotted your package right over to you. I've gotten others mail before and walked it over to them. It's not theirs even if the mailman delivered it to them by mistake. Dirtbags!!

+1. That is totally lame. I hope you will be pursuing a refund or some sort of reimbursement. USPS usually has insurance on their priority mail, was it priority?

Whoever it was delivered to is a complete lowlife and if this person did open it, it's an offense to open someone else's mail even if it was delivered to them on accident. Exactly as you said, a .....

Sorry to hear that KiMB00P, try to stay positive, its probably sitting on the guys shelf, and he's too busy to try to return it to you or post office.

If it makes you feel any better, I ordered 4 battery's one and a half months ago, which were supposed to be airmailed to me, instead they got sent via boat. Stupid Malaysia post!
Lesson: don't buy batteries from fasttech!

I lost a package once too, so if it's any consolation at all, you're not alone in this. It really sucks, but it is what it is. For more expensive shipments I pay for signed delivery, but that gets expensive for us Canadians so I do a risk assessment for each order and make up my mind for each individually.

I felt better once I did a quick calculation of how much I had saved by ordering online and realized my loss was pretty insignificant compared to that. Still sucked, but perspective helps :)

Hope you get your stuff in the end!

Vape on.

I'm so sorry this happened to you! Wouldn't the post office be responsible for the items even if the person does not return them? I would make darn sure they reimbursed you for the cost so you can order them again if the person who got them won't return them. I remember about a year ago I got a package delivered to my house and because I order a LOT online I didn't bother looking at the name, so I opened it. I realized it wasn't mine and checked the box for the name and address. I put the address in my GPS and delivered the package to its rightful owner myself. I felt so badly it was opened but I explained I thought it was my package. I delivered it right away within that hour I got and realized it wasn't mine..that's really what the person who received your items should have done when they realized it was not theirs..keeping other people's mail is a crime, not only a crime but I believe it's a felony. .so hopefully they will simply return it to you! I wish you the best of luck. Let us know what happens with it alright? Either way you should be compensated.

You might want to give them the benefit of the doubt... maybe they were just lazy or even out of town...

Realistically, it's probably not as likely that the house it accidentally went to is ALSO another vaper... plus, vapers look out for each other... sometimes.

Sorry to here about your situation, I have gotten others mail and have delivered it myself, proper thing to do, or have placed it in the box for the carrier to give it a second delivery try. I did feel bad that one time we were on our way for a long weekend and grabbed the mail and just placed it on the counter till we returned. That's when we noticed we had our neighbors mail, delivered it with apologies which they laughed and thanked us.

Hope you get yours safely!

I got the official "tough luck" call from the post office today.. He said he'd leave a handwritten note in the other person's mailbox demanding the return of the package, but he doesn't have definitive proof that it was delivered to that particular person's house, so there's nothing more he can do.

I'm out $50, so I've decided I'm going to my local B&M to repurchase these items tomorrow so I don't risk them being mailed to the wrong house again.. :(
On the bright side, maybe I'll find new juice or something that suits my fancy.

You got it right, Ive posted in other threads regarding a notorious neighbor of ours that lives around the corner, our street is Salford and then it ends and curves into Southport. The lady that lives there has gotten our mail and we get hers. Its been happening for years. When I got hers I USED to walk it down to her with NEVER a thank you, just an annoyed look as she would take it from my hands. I finally stopped taking it.

I know she has gotten many of my packages. We have had many packages that I track and it says delivered and a few that were "signature required" that she signed for and kept. It gets annoying and frustrating trying to dispute it with the Post Office. But when they showed us the signature it was not even our name......

ANyway, I hope you get your stuff and dont have to make too much of a fight over it. It happens and yes, there are awful people out there with NO SHAME.
