I ordered a SmokTech SID and a kayfun lite tank online and my tracking eventually said it was delivered, but I had no package and was anxiously checking my mail everyday. 7 days later, I report a missing package with my post office and 9 days later, I find out that the mail carrier misdelivered it to the wrong house..

Today the carrier was supposed to be going to said house to try and retrieve my package..

But that .... has had my package for over a week and I have no doubt in my mind that they have opened it and is probably using it at this very moment. :(

I still have to call the post office tomorrow for a follow up on their attempt to retrieve my stuff, but I guess I'll try and keep positive. All day at work I was just imagining some random person using my new mod. :(

I would demand them to return the costs or at least the cost of the kayfun lite (something that must be cleaned if some1 else used it) and then buy a new ones.
Some people are just douches , I see them all the time trying to steal my parking space after I've been waiting for 15 mins in the parking lot .....

I got the official "tough luck" call from the post office today.. He said he'd leave a handwritten note in the other person's mailbox demanding the return of the package, but he doesn't have definitive proof that it was delivered to that particular person's house, so there's nothing more he can do.

I'm out $50, so I've decided I'm going to my local B&M to repurchase these items tomorrow so I don't risk them being mailed to the wrong house again.. :(
On the bright side, maybe I'll find new juice or something that suits my fancy.

This is outrages , they [Moderated] up and give you the "tough luck" call ?! I wouldn't be upset over it but I would be super ...... off!
They are the ones who should provide provide a proof not you ... do they have your signature for approved delivery ? NO , so those ...... should pay the costs for their mistake ...

Since the package isn't insured, he said I can't come after the post office for reimbursement.

But I did hear back from fast tech and they say if I provide some lost package certificate they'll refund me. :)

I'm glad to know that you might get your money back , to think how many times I complained that I need to go to the post office to get my packages (I live in an apartment , not an house so i don't have a big mailbox) , reading your post I'm starting to think that it's not so bad given that I need to provide an identification before they hand me my mail

That doesn't make any sense! I thought they keep electronic records for every step on the journey... Like on their site and my phone app I get specific address delivery notifications. I guess if they delivered to the wrong address and thought it was the right address, they would just put the right address in the electronic recept. Bah lame.

Well I'm sorry all of this has happened, it's probably scared you away from ordering anything online!

Well my address is 164th St e, and the one they delivered it to is the same house number on 164th st CT e. Our streets are parallel to each other so when they tried to find the exact location of the carrier, both addresses were in the radius of the GPS. And therefore, they cannot exactly say which house it was actually delivered to.

That's so wrong. He made the mistake of taking it to the wrong address and should be accountable. Also the person who received the item should have stepped up and gave it back. It makes me angry to think no one is accountable for this mistake...I'm so sorry. Perhaps YOU can go to the address where it was delivered and ask for your items back..keeping your mail is a felony and perhaps you can REMIND the person of that fact..

I did go to the address that it was delivered to and the people were home
because I heard them walking around in the house but they didn't answer
the door. Probably because they didn't know who I was and the car in the drive
way is a little ricer/ fast and furious looking thing, hahah.

Just remember Karma will getcha/them. Maybe something important to them will be delivered to you by mistake ;)
Hehe, but I could never keep their package. Don't want to commit any federal crimes haha. I'm currently in school, trying to get into a pharmacy school. Would definitely look very bad on my record. Lol!

Keep in mind altering someone else's mail is a felony. The government owns that part of the system, and they dont take lightly to "theft." Report the package missing with whoever you bought it from and they will send you a new one after a few days, if not sooner if the mail man confesses to them. Its happened to me, and I always get it replaced with the right tone of voice twords companies. Thats why FedEx and UPS cant deliver packages inside my mailbox at my apartment complex, it goes straight to the office.

What sort of person keeps others mail??? I would have trotted your package right over to you. I've gotten others mail before and walked it over to them. It's not theirs even if the mailman delivered it to them by mistake. Dirtbags!!

Apparently a LOT Of dirtbags, our across the street neighbor has her vape mail coming in and seems out next door neighbor kept hers from two weeks ago so we're supposed to corner her today (she isn't home much it's strange, an escort with a "this is the legit house" or something) but she's got one due in today and asked me to get it and regaled me with the "mail theft" story while they're in Kingston (Jamaica) this week.

and I gave that ....... a misdelivered package a month ago too..we'll hold her mail hostage until she coughs up the vape mail!! *lol* (not really I'm a "follow the rules and do the next right thing" type. But as we ladies say in the South, "I'll pray for her"

My daughter same deal she has here mail delivered here (especially vape mail) they were stealing it at her apartment.

did I wake up and that wasn't a Fed. felony? dang. Camp Cupcake for you for stealing my cupcake ejuice! dang!

OP I'm sorry!!!! My daughter with the vape thefts at her apartment rarely got her product, the seller generally accused her of receiving them (as USPS said it was "delivered") so she didn't get justice, and sends her mail here now. :*
