Thanks for all the replies!!! It was actually much easier than I expected. I'm always nervous the first time I try something new so this was to be expected but in hind sight, I had absolutely no reason to be nervous. I think it was a very good build for my first one. I'm pretty proud of it. I took pics but can't figure out how to post them. When i try, it says the file is too large. If anyone can assist with that, I'd love to show you guys how it turned out. Its vaping like a champ, good vapor and good flavor. It actually feels like I'm vaping on a manufactured coil which to me is really good..lol...but I'm still a newb. I'm just completely stoked![]()

Nice first coil...although i would raise it a little bit higher off the deck if it was me....what that does...is one it improves air flow and two there is less risk of the coil shorting out as you use it....
Another thing u might want to do is not to get the coil glowing that bright wothout any liquid on it....pulse it to see how it lights....no need to get it hot white....
My 02 cents

To each is own...but do you really know the grade of kanthal or nickel they built these coils with...at least when you make your own you know what its made ofCoil looks great to me , well done . To those who will not wrap their own coils you can buy packs of 50 in all sizes and ohm's and believe it or not, they work very well and are dirt cheap .

Keep up the good work..dont get discouraged....the consecutive builds will be better....practice makes perfect and kanthal is cheap[emoji36]Thank you for the advice. I will definitely keep that in mind for my next one. When I was building, I remembered someone in a video saying not to ever let the coil touch the deck, so I tried to make sure that would not happen.
