i'm sick of these boges.

So i ordered the 25 boges from surevapes and i got them 2 weeks ago. i'm already down to 3 working ones (two loaded and one brand new).

I have to refill these every 2-3 hits with 3-4 drops(any more and it floods and all the liquid pours out over my provari/hands.) I get decent hits but a weird, burnt turkey aftertaste, These cartos last about 3-4 hours of vaping before they just stop producing vapor.
I'm very disappointed with how this is going and I hope my new vivi nova fixes things.


Oh and I forgot to add, all of them read at in between 1.0 and 1.3 ohms.

Even at 2.9v on my provari it's too hot.

Wow. I keep reading all over ECF about bad boges. I have not had a problem YET.
I use Boge LR 2.0s. Are those the ones that are defective or is it the 3.0s or the XXLs or just exactly what? Is a certain group of vendors receiving defective ones?
Has Rudy Kazootie investigated & released the findings?
Answers people. We need answers.

I'm not doing too well with mine wither. Hit and miss. My problems started when I went SR. Glad I saw this...I was trying to figure out what was up with my juice. It was great on the atty last night. Kicked my .... when I went to a carto. Switched to a NEW carto and it still kicked my ...., but not as bad. doing the same here, keeping down to 3v and a few drops every few hits. Might as well be using the atty at this point.

One thing to be careful of with your Vivi Nova on the ProVari is what happens if you drop it. The ProV. is heavy (I run an 18650) and if the threads get screwed up there goes the expensive (-ish) part.
I knocked my ProV. off of a work bench in my shop yesterday with the Nova on it and when I picked it up it was sitting at an angle atop my PV. To it's credit the threads weren't broken off, they just seem to have rounded off a touch and skipped a tooth. It threads on a little loosely now and it is leaking just a tiny bit from the connection now. It didn't leak at all before. Still vapes good though. I think I may order a few of them next time I order stuff and NOT stand my PV on the edge of my workbenches.

edit: Oh yeah, I'm really enjoying the cleaner flavor on this thing and (with the longer wicks) it seems to be wicking a ton better than the CE2s I tried a long time ago.

i found one that read 1.7 in my leftovers, tried it at 3.7v and FINALLY.
btw, i had seen pete's video and my has the short and long condoms and the same box markings his ones from crystal clear have, but mine are from surevapes, another one he checked out.

Thank you for the video. I am not done yet, but his mention of primer might just be something. Wonder if boiling first would help. I may do a box of five new ones and see how it goes.

I've been noticing the same thing with the boges, only with certain juices tho. I'm super bummed. been boges for a long time and the after taste thing is something I never noticed until now... I drip the same juice in a 357 and no burnt after taste!

I'm seeing something similar with the Boge XL 3.0 cartos I got from CCV a few weeks ago (w/ long and short caps). I got three boxes, and in the first box I opened, they all started with a clean taste but would get real tight on the draw by the end of a 5ml tank. I'm on the second box now, and each one has that primer flavor until I get about a ml of juice burned through it and then it works good until the end of the tank when the draw gets tight, like the first box. I haven't opened the 3rd box yet, but it's probably a 50/50 chance that they'll have that aweful primar flavor when first loaded.

I think I'm going to order the SmokTech 3.0 XLs for the next batch and not deal with Boge again until they get this stuff figured out.

I got the 5x5 assortment from surevapes and some of mine have printed cello bags and some have a sticker with the LR or SR printed on it stuck to the cello bag. All of mine so far have long and short condoms but since this is my first order of boge, is it normal for the silicon spike in the long condom to be removable (ie fall out of the condom as a separate thumbtack shaped item?) My previous cartos of another brand had the spike molded into the condom...

I have had several good tasting ones so far but about half have the turkey bacon flavor and one had a severe burn taste that has not gone away.
I recognized the turkey bacon flavor since as a teen I had an uncle who developed turkey bacon and turkey hotdogs for Smithfield Farms processors. The early versions were a nasty that never leaves the memory.

I just opened one of the SR's that is perfect...

This makes me really sad, one thing I could always depend on was my boges. I'll give surevapes a chance, I think I can order one box shipped for 5.50. If it doesn't work out I may go back to bottom feeding with a Reo grand. I had one at one time but sold it.

Where did you find the 357? I went to the vendor PBusardo mentioned and could not find that carto. I also went to check out the stingray he mentioned and could not find those. If you have a link, i would really appreciate it. Thanks

Avid is the only vendor that sells the 357. That atty is hand made by Hanna with Avid supplying the parts.

I'm having the same issues, bought the same deal. I'm buying another vivi nova and probably a few Stardusts. I'm tired of carto's in general. As they perfect clearomizers and the price comes down carto's will be Zippo's and clearomizers will be Bic's except some Zippo's are at least cool to look at. To me carto's are like a car with no gas gauge so you drive around with a full gas can in your trunk and top off when the feeling hits.

I used to deal with boge then I moved to the Fluxomizer and they are great, but today I got the Vivo nova and I am in heaven. Wow, I always been looking for something that would enhance the flavor and this Vivi nova really does the trick.
