Just curious: Has anyone tried punching and using Kanger XL cartos in a tank system? Any insight for alternatives to Boge would be helpful.
their not cartos tho, the 357 it a really well built atty. expensive, but really built well! I thought at first that the 357 was just an attempt at reinventing the wheel, BUT its not. I got one and truly love it! the flavor is a step above all the rest... kinda like what the boges use-ta-be!

I am fed up with the Boges too. I usually switch back and forth between the resurrectors and the boges. My last two orders of Boges have been horrible. I really don't think it is limited to the ones with the weird condoms. I get that flooding and burning problem a lot, along with bitter, vitaminy, lardy taste.

I just got in an order from Health Cabin of the Boge 2.0 LR stainless, I got in 4 boxes of them. The boxes look the same as normal genuine boge. I opened one carto up and the condoms are the 2 of same size but they are tight. All of the boxes were the same.On inspection they look normal and looking inside they appear fluffier. I filled them with a long condom I had saved, and it filled up rather fast. filler seems more absorbent. I punched holes and slid it in my tank and tapped it on palm of hand and saw all the bubbles rise. I took my first draw and all seem great. I bought them from Health Cabin because price was great, about 4 bucks each including the 7 dollars reg, slow shipping. Now I have only used one of 20, and Im feeling hopeful. I will update as I use more of them.
So there is hope, maybe since these were directly from china they are a newer batch and hopefully the US vendors will start getting the newer ones and we can finally take a good long vape and relax. Ive been hitting this one hard for a few hours and so far no bad taste or burn. Just an occasional drier hit as Im chainvaping. I just let it relax a bit and take a draw without fireing it off. I keep on taking looks inside and its wet and fluffy. Cross our fingers, maybe this is all over.

Eric, did you try to use it at the normal voltage (that you use other cartos)? I found that the VN has to be used at a much lower voltage than I'm used to.. MUCH lower. There seems to be a fine line between a good vape and one that is hinting on burnt.. like I might get a good vape at say, 4v but at 4.1 it would start to taste burnt. I would have a real hard time trying to "dial to taste" on these.
I'm on my second "head" and this time I started out at 2.9 and worked my way up. I don't find it awesome.. but it's acceptable I guess.. I'd have a tough time existing on the VN alone. It has been worth buying and playing with though. I'll probably buy more heads and maybe some kanthal and wick to see what I can do. It would be frustrating if I didn't already have gear that worked to my satisfaction. I've gotten a bit bored lately and felt the need to branch out.
I got a big batch of boges in back awhile ago.. and other than being able to taste the filler.. sooner .. I haven't experienced any doa's or burnt ones. I think the growing filler taste is just me getting more sensitive to it.. I've been bottom feeding a smok tech 2.5 single coil carto for the last week and it has been performing and still tasting really good.. I've been impressed with it

These Boge issue have been driving me nuts. I just got my order of 801 Fusions and so far they are GREAT! Hopefully Boge can get back on track but it kills me I have 20 or so hit or miss cartos sitting next to me
Wow that sucks i have some boge i got from a co-op the standard 3.0 have been very good the xl 3.0 so so.Was going to get that 5 pack at sure vapes mabey better not.My dualcoil have been nothing but great and i've been through tons of those.
