I'm so proud.....hardcore smoker friend has converted!!!!!!!!!!

I have a friend who is one of those heavy, hardcore cig smokers. I've watched him go through a carton in a weekend, seriously. He took advantage of Smoke Tip's BOGOfree offer during Thanksgiving and has informed me this is the first time in his life he's been cig free for a week. He says he vapes at work very publicly and that his boss had a positive response to it. They want to approach their HR dept about having these devices paid for, but I've directed him here to read up about the controversy so he can be prepared if he encounters resistance. I've tried to explain why we all need to be informed and active due to persistent threats from outside interest groups. Our other friends are now convinced that if HE can do it, anyone can, and now they are also wanting to make PV purchases. I feel privileged to be able to give people 'inside' info to help direct them to sources for good info and products. He bought some eliquid from FSUSA to refill his own cartomizers and I've referred him here. Personally, I like him and my other still smoking friends just fine and I've never even asked any of them to stop smoking. Just seeing my husband and me with our PVs has incited curiosity which is now leading to a positive chain reaction. There is strength in numbers.

It just feels good to be part of helping someone make a positive change and seeing them do so without much of a struggle is really rewarding.

It is awesome that he took up vaping, just goes to show you that you don't have to preach about vaping. No matter how much people say that they don't want to quit smoking, the fact is that they have never found a way to stop smoking that worked for them. I am one of those that loved smoking because I needed my nicotine, now I have my nicotine and a cool new hobby. No one had to talk me into it, I just had to know the option was there to try.

The first person you watch convert from analogs to digitals it's like magic. you feel like you really helped someone. and to the normal person, you don't feel that all the time. so when you see this you just grin from ear to ear.

CASAA | The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association has a tri-fold brochure, and lots of other downloadable information that might help to convince the HR department that this is a much safer alternative. It's worth checking out.
