Im starting to hate the cold

Im sitting here trying to wrap my nano coils.
It is -5 degrees outside and they have the thermostat set so high that i am sweating.
I cant grip my kanthal wire and my paper clip spins in my hand.
15 feet of kanthal later I give up with 1 ok coil and one that broke on my rda.
Any tips to get a better grip?
Im thinking of standing outside in the snow to wrap my coils >.<

Stick your head in the freezer? Turn off the breaker for thermostat?

Use an allen key to wrap on. I use a 1.5mm but you might want smaller or bigger depending on the coil id you want. Start by angling the wire over the short end up to the bigger end and catch it with your thumb and finger, then wrap away.

holds it for you then you can just grip the wire with your hand or pliers and wrap.

Dont try to go for a smooth winding motion. Instead grab the wire leg on the paper clip and use your thumb to press and bend the next bit. So instead of making a circle, make a polygon.
