I'm sticking to cartomizers...

That's all I've ever used, so just out of curiosity, I ordered a HV 801 atty to try out.

Filled it with my favorite TV juice... took a puff... and BLECCHHHH You know how an analog would taste when the filter-end was accidentally lit and you took a big puff? It tasted just like that.

End of experiment.

It could have been the primer fluid. Did you blow it out and reprime it with your liquid? A new atty takes a day or so to break in

I started with an DSE801 and added a Joye510. When I was making my huges "I'm getting a Chuck" order from Health Cabin I added a couple of 901s and got 2 packs of cartomizers to try.

I just cleaned out an 801 cart and started it on a new juice. It took 20 drops. A 510 will take 6 or 7.

The more I read about cartomizers, the more I think they'll be great for liquids I adore. Fill one with AC, one with peppermint, etc. But for the things I'm just trying or still doctoring, I like being able to open them up and play with them.

But, yeah, you have to prime them. I've been using the same attys for 2-3 months now so I forgot how bad the primer tastes.

LOVE the cartos at 6v!!!!!! And they love the Chuck!

I love cartomizers. Easy to refill and top (condom method), last forever, you can wash 'em or buy blanks and if you spin 'em they'll take a LOT of any juice...

Handy dandy. If I get a chuck (want) it'll be for use with cartos.

(No idea what you mean about priming them - but I just use V4L cartomizers and there's no priming or primer fluid involved.
And you can fill open 'em up very easily and fill that way, by dripping, too, and take 'em apart etc - except for the brief and temp run of some flavors with caps that are not removable.)

I have a centrifuge in my lab at work which I used on Friday to spin a few. But I also have a battery sleeve which is what I will normally use.

Not nearly as much fun as using the lab toys though!

I just rinse them several times with warm water (not HOT water, tends to break down the filler). Just repeat until they're white or almost white. Some dark liquid will stain them and once stained that's hard to remove if at all.

I put the O ring on the end of the syringe and put it in the end of the Carto. Then put it in warm water and pump it a few times drawing thje water in and out then I flush once with a syringe full of Vodka or everclear. Cleans them up nice and takes the stains out of them.

Just a regular 10ml syringe you would use carts or Cartos got it from Good prophets
