Imagine smoking fifty cigarettes...

According to my signature (which is at least correct on rate of analogs smoked, if not savings) I have passed up fifty cigarettes.

The last two cigarettes I smoked last week were foul enough that I couldn't even inhale a puff. (That was when I knew my body had told me to quit.) I can't even imagine the sight of fifty cigarettes much less the act of smoking them now.

There's a sealed ashtray here in the living room whose bottom compartment has butts from when we quit, and my wife and I are going to make it a little ceremony this weekend to throw them out for the last time.

Keep it up! I wish I thought to have a ceremony. I DO still have my rolling machine (I rolled my own the last 6 months of smoking). I might make a little ceremony of passing this stuff to the trash can.

Congrats. I originally got my counter to see the money I'd have spent on cigaettes but I'm amazed at how fast that "cigarettes avoided" counter goes up.

Congrats! My hubby cleaned out the garage last weekend and didn't just empty the ashtray - He threw out the ashtray butts and all. Three weeks today for me. Keep going. You can do it.

i still have my last empty pack from last summer, I have been trying to think of a good, interesting ceremonial thing to do with it.

Currently it lives in the bottom of my DIY tackle box, surrounded by it's replacements.
