these kind of look promising dont they for the 7.4V option instead of the 16340?
Ultrafire 18350 1200mah 3.7v BUTTON TOP Rechargeable Lithium Battery Li-Ion UF18350
they should fit since they are only a little longer than the 18650
you might not even need a spacer
draw back is no PCB on this model :( but they are 1200Mah
so you can expect at least a real 1000Mah off them
(thats just guessing since the gray ultras/trust 880Mah are really 600MaH)

I search funky and I didnt found 18350 protected so I didnt suggest them. But we already have 1200 mah cr123A, so we need more power. If you find more than 1200mah cr123A or 18350 (protected ones) then we will be better than now. We are already very high in power but a litlle more will not bother anyone:D:D

the thing imao that sinse i started searching i have found that the Mah printed on the batt and the real Mah of the batt are generally 2 diferent things, especially from the generic
CR123a. the green and purple 3.0V 3.6V generic cheeap ones that show 1000Mah
almost always test out to be 300Mah in reallity
even ultrafire/trustfire do not put the right Mah rating on there batts

your absoluty right about not posting the 18350s since they arent protected though

I know what is happening with mahs. But the battery that says more, maybe they are really more than other ones. :)

the GTLs are not bad at all, better than the Ultras since they were tested at 700Mah.
apparently the most you can hope for at the moment from CR123a secondary is 750

only the Primarys can go to 1200+Mah

I have notice that GTL are very very good batteries. I saw that they almost double the cr2 smoking time. I use them 10 days now and they are exellent

if i find better ill post it here :)
you should try out the Tenergy brand though.
with the AWs they are probably the best out there

I saw them but I didnt took them because they were not protected or they were low in mah. If you smoke with them please let me know and of course inform me about bigger batteries!! Thanks a lot funky

Hmm They do say that they are protected.....Ultrafire 18350 1200mah 3.7v BUTTON TOP Rechargeable Lithium Battery Li-Ion UF18350
Rechargeable Lithium batteries are rapidly becoming a very economical way to lower the operating costs of Lithium-Powered flashlights. We offer a number of different options in order to meet any rechargeable needs. These are Protected batteries.

Sakis Where did you see Ca123a/16340 rated at 1200mah?
I seen this one rated at 1000mah DealExtreme: $3.19 Ultrafire LC 16340 3.6V 1000mAh Protected CR123A Battery but they have been reported to only supply 800mah

I believe it, I just Hate how these people are continuously lying about their ratings, it's so disturbing. Right now my cr2's that I just got in, are only running 1.5-3 hours! Ugh Very frustrating.

join the club iken the batteries i got from dx suck i only got about 2 hours of use out of them

I wonder what the discharge rate of those DX batteries are? I bet it starts off at 1C and then the internal resistance rockets right up!!

My CR2s one pair lasts over half a day the other only 2 hours or so and they are both the same age. The annoying thing is with Li-Ion there is no way to recondition them to bring them back to life (that I know of hehe)
