I had just asked Poeia the same question.
She told me you can get the blue protected ones at madvapes and I think I saw you could get them at nhaler too.

You can go to lighthound and get AW16340 @550mah I have those but it was explained they don't last as long per charge. However, for my little chuck they do serve us well.

The orange one is NOT protected. About 6 months ago the guy at Lighthound said they'd be getting them but he doesn't have them yet.

Mad Vapes is the main source. Nhaler has an IMR one that they had custom made for them. It's 800mAh compared to 1200 for the Ultrafire Li-ion at Mad Vapes. It the IMR were from AW, I'd say it wouldn't make much difference (Ultrafire is known for using the most optimistic measure possible, AW isn't.) Who knows about this one?

I copied down this table someone recently posted about the stock batteries. It should give you a sense of how long the various mod batteries will last based on mAh.

DSE901 Shorty = 180mAh
KR808D-1 Shorty - 180mAh
510=180mAh
510 mega=280mAh
KR8=280mAh
KR8 mega=380mAh
eGo=650mAh
Riva=750mAh
eGo mega=900mAh
eGo mega XL=1000mAh
Hello016=1350mAh
