What do you think of this M8s

http://www.economist.com/node/21554503

"It is the best conductor yet discovered of heat at room temperature and is 40 times stronger than steel. It is also a semiconductor whose electrical conductivity is 1,000 times better than silicon's."

Its a semiconductor which means it has resistance meaning its useless for a mod , hence semiconductor . and thermal properties are useless for a mechanical mod . I also noticed that the person who wrote this has no understanding in the science of metallurgy hence 40 x stronger , tensile ? shear? Compression ? Stronger by itself is not used in measuring a materials properties .

Just a thought, what about silver thermal past on the contacts? I'm not a genius at any of this and patiently awaiting the chance at my first GG but I was toying with the idea.

Silver thermal paste has many many other things in it besides silver ( and in its name its used to transfer heat not electricity well ), this is potentially very dangerous if it gets in your juice . and its not as electrically conductive as SOLID brass .

Guys, dont spend your money trying to solve a problem that doesnt exist. Pure metal like brass is our best choice. You will save time, money, effort:)

100% agree , you will NOT get anything noticeably better . All you have to do is pull out a multimeter and measure . The only time you would need to even think about using something else because of losses is if your going to push 100s of times more power then we use .
