I was walking back from work with my volt that's white with a red LED and some random guy with a cigarette in his hand stopped me to ask for a ligher. I took a puff on my volt and said, sorry man I don't smoke.
He looked at me like I'm crazy then looked at the volt in my hand and I then I clicked. I took the carto off to show him and said, yeah, sorry I don't have a light, it's not real.
He just said oh and walked off looking desperate for someone else to ask but I was happy because that's exactly why I got my volt; to get to work and back without being stopped by the police for this "black thing" they think I'm smoking from and avoid people looking at me like I'm doing something illegal.
I still carry my ego on me but I prefer to emulate a smoker and I'm glad everyone else thinks I am in the wild. A real success and slightly amusing I guess. Moral of the story? If you want to imitate a smoker you might get asked for a light. It's strange now I don't worry about having a working lighter on me anymore and hadn't thought about it until then.
