IMPORTANT - No more ecig vendors?

Just received TWO messages from Vendors saying they can no longer sell electronic cigarettes in the US due to Ruyan getting a patent in the USA, can someone more savvy than I give us some info??

(one was SMOKTECH!!!!)

I read about this recently when reading about the acquisition of Blu by Lorillard tobacco. There is a thread here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ves-u-s-patent-blu-cig-settles-dragonite.html which contains links to other threads about this.

I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know what it all means.

OK, looks like a false alarm!

I just emailed Smoktech (the big guy) and he clarified and said it was ok...

these people are driving me crazy!

Yeah, from what I read, for now anyway, you should be ok w/Chinese-made equipment. I believe it's just the US-made of a certain type (?) that's being pursued.

Glad he cleared it up for you! Those crazy guys!
