Thank you Witch - but I cannot take credit a gentleman recommended them somewhere on these forums and I was reminded in a post I saw this evening by user: IR_Efrem

I just wanted to do a separate thread because sometimes the best ideas get buried in long threads.

@Luda - the bottle and needle come together as a set.

With these bottles you don't need to worry about a syringe being wide enough to soak up the e-juice. The "syringe" is on the end of the bottle - so you just put your e-liquid in this bottle and squeeze.

If you want to wait until I get mine to see how it goes - no problem. I will update this thread ;)

With shipping (Priority) it was a bit over $17 for 10 of these 1oz. bottles

EDIT: I did find the post I originally saw about these bottles and IR_Efrem was the originally poster as far as I can tell so credit where credit is due. Thanks, Efrem!

Great, thanks Yanks! I was worried about even trying to get syringes as I heard they were illegal to buy in NYC (sounds kind of bogus), but seeing as you were able to get them, obviously not true. Looking forward to hearing about how you find them!

Luda - they actually aren't I asked at my local Walgreens and they said you didn't need a scrip BUT they insisted on seeing ID and checked me against this list they had.

Problem was I think most only carry diabetes syringes (could be wrong) because the ones I bought did not work (to thin to suck up the thick juice).

Technically these are considered "industrial syringes" and the company I ordered from is based in KS.

Yanks, looks like these needles are only 1/2" long. Do you think they're long enough?

Also, could you post the SKU number of the bottle you ordered? That would be helpful.

Thanks for the info.

Hi Katya - I ordered:

JG1.0BC-18-0.5

1oz Boston Round Bottle w/ Luer Lock Cap, 18-0.5 Needle (10 per bag)

Yes, the needles that come with bottles I ordered are only 1/2" long - I believe that will be long enough but if not they do sell needles separately:

Industrial Dispensing Needles

Up to 3" long

My main goal besides not having to dealing with the syringe (it was a pain in the ....) was being able to avoid drops getting into the center of the carto - so even if the needle can't reach all the way down to the bottom of the carto - I still think this will work better for me at least as it will allow me to be more precise in exactly where the juice goes.

Nice find.

Now regretting that box of 100 syringes I bought but I've wasted more on dumber things!

And I felt bad wasting money on 10 - I feel much better now :) Sorry, loner!

looks very interesting...

any concerns about these things not being safe - maybe adding something to the juice that we wouldn't want in our lungs? anyone know?

the web site says medical manufacturing and dental uses, so maybe their OK, but I'd be a little nervous about something bought in a sporting goods store, no?

Hey browns: when I get mine I intend to clean the bottles thoroughly and boil the needle part.

@ brownsfan

I think you are talking about the bottle the OP was telling us about. If that's the case, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's just a plastic bottle like the ones that the juice comes in. As a matter of routine, I wash my syringes in very hot water.

Also, keep in mind that the primary ingredient in E-Juice is PG which is a very effective bacteriacide. It's also used in asthma inhalers.

Hope that this helps put your mind at ease but always remember, if it really concerns ya, err on the side of caution.
