These are all recipes I have on my list to try:

Cocopear by Stafylidis Vladimiros at ELR:

0.5% Coconut Extra (TPA)
2% Pear (TPA)
2% Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP)

and a Honey Peary clone by robin at ELR

1% Honeydew (TPA)
3% Honeysuckle (TPA)
6% Pear (TPA)
3% Strawberry (TPA)

and finally, once I get the Honeysuckle, I also want to try this Placid clone, even though I've never been able to try Placid (from Adirondack Vapor)

Placid clone v7 by onmywaydownnow at ELR

4% Honeysuckle (TPA)
0.5% Key Lime (TPA)
0.5% Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) (FA)
2.5% Pear (TPA)
4% Strawberry (TPA)
0.5% Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA)

Sometimes I am surprised by the simple recipes. I just finished making a peach/crème test bottle. When I have a primary flavor and a supporting flavor, I do "about" a 3:1 ratio. So for my mix I went with 6% peach and 2% straight, plain Whipped Cream. Not heavy, not thick, not sweet, just a "light" cream.

Testing that, I see what the peach is like, a sweet peach, a tart peach, etc. The cream is just a light smoothener or buffer.

Just me. Good luck to you.

Thanks, good advice. It's funny your are using peach in your example because I also just got "juicy peach" that I will be trying soon.

Well, I like fruits as part of a desert. When I was growing up we had fruit trees, many people did, and my G-Mother would pull the peaches, cut them up and my G-Father put milk cream on his, so we kinda followed suit. Did that with a lot of fruits. It was desert on Sundays. Always a full meal on Sunday after church.

As to the recipe, I may adjust the percent's a touch, or add another supporting flavor like Graham Cracker Crust or, even, pie crust to give it a heavier sensation.

Pineapple, a touch of walnuts and a touch of cream is good, too. There are about 6-8 creams and they are all slightly different. Good to get them sorted so that you know which to use when.

Good luck!

I haven't tried it personally, but since a lot of people seem to like it, and the timing is fortuitous I thought I'd point out that Charlie Noble just wrote a post about his Commodore Pearry recipe: The Not-So-Discontinued Series: Commodore Pearry . I'm waiting on an order at the moment, but I'm planning on trying this out once it comes in.

Here's something I came across in a big TFA reddit thread:

6% pear
3% strawberry
3% honey dew

Hard to go wrong with that combo, and one other person in there says "Can I just say that the pear straw honeydew recipe is ....ing incredible. vaping it now." :)

And ECF member Mckaen posted this one:

All flavors TFA.

Pear 10%
Bavarian cream 6%
Ripe strawberry 3%
Max vg

Now, if I were going to play around (and I might! eventually!), I would maybe try to come up with something based on Ahlusion's Caramel Pear Black Tea, even though I haven't tried it (can't get it where I am). It just sounds very yummy and different!

The Pear/Strawberry/Honey Dew - think I'll mix up a 100 drop taster since I've got all of these flavors.

Now the Pear/Bav. Cream/Ripe Strawberry sounds good enough to go ahead and do a 30ml batch. I've not had anything bad with Bavarian Cream in it.

And lastly, I agree that the Carmel Pear sounds yummy (not sure about the Black Tea). Please let us know if you create something like this.

Thanks Tazzle.

If it's been in Charlie Nobles rotation it's probably going to be fantastic , the reviews i have seen for it do seem to confirm this .

I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND the clone for "Adirondacks Placid" that a member listed above .

One of the best shake & vapes i ever had for sure.

I'm definitely trying that first one tonight

This is an oldie-but-goodie that I enjoy from ECF member @Bryong70 in the TFA thread and Paddymx compilation:
Swirling Pear
5.0% Pear - TFA
3.0% Vanilla Swirl - TFA
0.5% Raspberry -TFA
Sounds good. Unfortunately I don't have any Raspberry (shame on me ). Um I do have some black cherry that might be ok at .5%?

TFA Black Cherry could work. I might ramp it back to 0.25-0.30% to start, as I find it can be a little domineering, and you only want a hint to help the pear to bloom and gain depth.

Dragon Fruit, Strawberry, even Watermelon (all TFA) would work too. They are not quite as "in your face" as the Black Cherry so I would use any of those at the same 0.5%. I seem to recall reading in anther thread that Grape can even work with pear but I have not yet tried this particular pairing. :D

I made this one with vanilla bean ice cream and it was just okay. Maybe it needs to steep. This is an example of how different flavors really are!
