Hey all, I just need to rant. I've been at this since June and I'm sick of fragile heating elements/juice delivery systems.
To me the battery supplies voltage, and I'm happy with my inferno ego batts. Though I'll probably upgrade to some VV eventually, but what I really want is a more reliable cartomizer.

I've tried the CE2s and clearomizers but they don't last too long and the clears leak
the CE3s don't produce enough vapor and are the vapor is too cool
the tank o mizer is also too cool
my DCT tank from myvaporstore seems like the right direction, but 2 of 5 of the cartomizer refills were DOA (had a short) and they also coke up too fast
Dripping onto atomizers seems reliable but keeping the juice amount just right is just annoying.

I'm sure technology will eventually catch up, but is there something I'm missing? Is there anything out there better?

Thanks,
Slaphappy

have you tried normal 2.0 boge cartos with the polyfill, I started out using nothing but ce2s for months, now I use nothing but boges and now and again I do enjoy the 1.7 ohm resurrector single coils from C.C.V....normal boge cartos, kanger cartos, all work very well and haven't had much problems with them...check out GoodProphets.com, I believe he sells a 5 pack for only like 6.99$ I highly recommend picking up a pack of them and giving them a go.

I've never had any luck with CE2s or CE3s either—not so much reliability, but a flavor something akin to the bottom of a cat box.

To wit, my best-performing carto setup has been an Ikenvape Fushion in combination with a Liquinator or other carto tank. Admittedly, the flavor is somewhat muted when compared to dripping, but not extinguished.

I use the Smok tek dual coil ego mega carto's. I'm a pretty new vapor, but I picked up 3 of these about 3 weeks ago, all three are still going great, haven't even had to clean them yet!

They hold about 4 ml of juice, so I can vape all day on one carto and one battery (I use an 1100 mah KGO). Also, the flavor starts to diminish a little bit before you get the "burnt" taste from being empty, so you know when you're running low.

Give these a shot, they're under $3.00 a piece and very sturdy.

I agree. Love the boges with my cherry vapes drip tips. I personally haven't gotten a bad one yet (knocks on wood). The flavor is awesome. Mine last for several weeks before the draw gets hard. Then I clean them with some hot water, and soak them in some vodka, and they usually for for another couple of weeks before I toss them. I also use them on my ego batteries, my provari and my lava tube. (I also love the lil mama tank)

Yup what PI said! Else the Boge 2.0's. If you go with the Fusions try them in the LR version since you will be driving them a eGo type batt. You will need a 510 to 801 adapter also.

The most popular cartos on fat-battery 510-threaded systems are Boge 510 2 ohm, probably because they just work. You can also get carto tanks for punched/slotted Boge 2.0's like the 3ml Jtank at electronicstix and I think elsewhere the Chibi tank, Babby Notta, and others (and the places that sell those usually sell the pre-slotted cartos).

But if you like to switch flavors then I think plain old Boge 2 ohm cartos. I use them with juices around 80PG/20VG. I only use clear juices in cartos, not dark, opaque or cloudy ones that drop flavoring sediment and quickly degrade a carto. If you fill a Boge completely to stated capacity, clean up, settle it on different sides and ends, then keep it damp with thin clear juice you should be able to get 7-10 days use out of one depending on how much juice you go through. I can run about 20ml through a carto before feeling I would appreciate a fresh one. And since I alternate vaping 2, that is 2-3 weeks for the pair.

i've been using my 1xce2 xl for 2months now. cleaned it 3 times in total. they are giving me great flavor great vapor. yes downside is the burnt taste. i took it out (the innards) then cut a bigger V slot in the rubber cup that sits on top of the ceramic one right when i took it out of the box. its still going. 1 ce2 for 2 months after fiddling. i think its still great $ there =x. (p.s. its in an arry tank so perhaps thats why)

p.s. theres two leak cases. both times i knocked it off the table once atp a provari and once atop a lavatube. the innards came loose out of the arry tank so yuh. messy. but those are the only two times it leaked so far. the rest of the leaking were mainly condensation builtup in the tank so it came out of the center post.

and yes i 2nd the post below by fishface. the best ones are the ones u personally like.
