I have a friend who is interested in these, but the kit he wants is always out of stock.

Sorry, but they are getting stock back in, so it depends on what's out. Unless it's the ultimate kit though it's cheaper to part it out, until they fix that on the website too. But there are more than enough parts in stock to get rolling, except for the PCC's. So if it's the mini pcc kit your friend is looking at, he could start with the batts and carts, add a usb/wall charger and just pick up the miniPCC when it gets in. Using a 10% code you'll come out cheaper than full retail on the kit even with 2 shipping charges, plus you'll have the wall/usb charger. If your friend is smoking analogs now, I say go ahead and order what you can, besides, they may want to order more cartos of whatever flavor they liked and let it tag on the shipping with the PCC.
-unless it's the ultimate kit, which really does save money if they really want everything in it. But if I had to guess the pass through is probably low on the list of items to be restocked and may be a while, totally unofficial guess though. I also question who needs both a basic carrying case and a PCC?
