Regulator paves way for NHS e-cigarette prescriptions in England

If this goes ahead, it'd be some good news for vaping

Sounds good BUT why make a non-prescription item into a prescription item?
Down the road, and if the anti-vape cartel gets any traction over there, they are liable to start trying to make all vaping prescription only - As they have already done in Australia.

Once approved they then can be supplied costing the recipient only the normal prescription charge or nothing if the person is over retirement age.

I can just imagine how appealing a "prescribed" e-cigarette is likely to be.

I bet it will be right up there with the VUSE that the FDA just granted a PMTA for here in the US.

Thing is the UK took, and has maintained, a much more realistic and benevolent view of vaping for years now
- that in spite of the anti anything tobacco cartels that seem determined to outlaw it.
So also making vaping a prescription item, as long as it is still available over the counter - may not be so bad in the UK - Somehow England's view on things like vaping are much, much more intellig4ent than other countries such as the US negativity, Australia's prescription only, and India's total outlawing of all vaping.
So maybe England's adding vaping as a prescription may not be so bad after all ???
Even in the US some items available over the counter are also available by prescription.

Well the 'optimistic' icon wasn't meant to be sarcastic, and certainly not meant to be taken that way. To be honest, I'm not entirely thrilled about the idea, but the Libra in me makes me look at both sides of the equation. I guess I should've stated that instead of just 'clicking an icon which can be taken in different ways'.
