Hi and Welcome.

Is this a new kit or something you have been using for a while?
Is it a new cartridge or had it been okay up to now?
Is the Battery fully charged?
Does the light stay on the entire draw?
Does the cartridge feel clogged?
Do you notice any juice or dust/debris under the cartridge when removed from the battery?

Cheers
I

Also, did it happen from the start, or it's something recent? I get inconstant draws, if I'd even call them that, where my tank occasionally gurgles if I overfill.... Or, depending on how much I'm paying attention.

If this has been going on from the start, you may want to try different equipment, or if it's recent the suggestions above are good ones.

Hi,
I'm using the Mark 10 XL/Solaris XL and getting inconsistent draws. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
TIA

Hi! It's unlikely you are doing anything wrong as such. What is wrong is that these pathetic, useless and ridiculously over-priced products exist at all.
A tobacco company selling the very lowest standard products at the highest possible price - it's not enough for them to sell tobacco for smoking, they now want to sell a so-called 'vaping' alternative that is barely an alternative. Look at the cost of this system for the quality and efficacy. It beggars belief.

Harsh? Decide for yourself. We know what their game is. Their game would be over if there was anything we (the vaping community) could do about it... but how do you fight big tobacco? You can't.
I took on a tobacco company e-cig (it was a vaping company e-cig in 2011) and all i got was lawyers and threats.

Throw it away before you get into $800 worth of total junk. Like I did.

I'm going to second ddjsvapor's suggestion, here. Even if it were the BEST e-cig ever made (some people think the Juul is the third coming or whatever) I wouldn't support BT efforts to insert themselves into the vape market. I'd check out some of the equipment forums and see if you can find something that works for you that you can use, repeatedly, SO MUCH cheaper, and as an (now, and I'm in a really bad mood today, I STILL have not smoked) ex-smoker, I don't want to hand BT one.more.penny.of.what.I.have.spent. As far as I'm concerned, BT can make itself useful making nicotine for vapers (that WILL be the way it goes, in the end, as far as I'm concerned, the FDA KNOWS that and that is why... They're getting interested in the vape market, eventually as people get educated, that's where the $$ is going to flow.... I mean, after getting OFF cigs, I am really disinterested in some "pretend" burning cigarette that is SLIGHTLY less harmful and NOT worth the price.

One of my docs told me that years ago, (we're talking '99 and he told me this was decades back) that as health effects were showing up, vaping was totally on big tobacco's radar and they were worried about all the data in the 70s coming out, and ALL considered switching to non-burning devices of various sorts, and decided against it. Instead, they made their tobacco more and more addictive, and smokers were smoking *more* due to all the additives, the drop off rate, etc. Now, they are reaping what they sow, making money off vape equipment that sucks (either deliberately, or because they want to be "different" than the vape market) and either way, anything produced by a tobacco company is going to be expensive, over-hyped, and likely fail, causing either a return to cigarettes, which is the ultimate goal, or getting people hooked on overpriced cartriges, so they continue to make money.

Rant over (for now) :) But yeah, if it's not working out (I have not yet memorized all the cartridge style vape pens yet) try something new, and FAR cheaper after the initial purchase.

I'd start with a small tank, like the Nautilus 2 with a 1.8 coil (it comes with a sub-ohm coil, most smokers find it easiest to start with something similar to a mouth to lung draw, like a cigarette, but if you want to produce tons of vapor, you could try sub-ohming. As far as rechargable batteries versus something you plug in to charge, you are likely going to want something smaller for now.... There are lots of options, or you could jump to a one battery regulated mod. I'm not so familiar with the different tanks I'm sure someone will chime in though. Then, depending on where you live, find a vape shop that will let you try flavors, try a few, buy a small amount of a few flavors, and see how you do. You can go from there...

Thanks for your support @stols001

You know, people on the forum skirt around the issue of just how bad most of the tobacco co. products are. Also (as mentioned in your post) people who actually know about vaping jump on bandwagons and declare the latest money-making effort by some cynical corporation as somehow 'good' or 'worth a try'.
Maybe Juul is worth a try... but compare the running costs of this compared to a refillable e-cig and liquid from a bottle.
I remember people saying of 'Njoy'... if you are going to try one cig-a-like, this is the one!
Well, Njoy went bust as nobody is interested in this anymore.

I liked this comment too.

Well said. Exactly this.

You are welcome, Djsvapor, I think by now I guess ppl have figured I don't ah, skirt around much :) It does baffle me (well, not really) that ppl fall for the hype, but of course these devices are overhyped. I'm really glad that I did start vaping many years ago then quit, as I kind of knew about vape shops and it actually shocked me when I was looking for a Juul in deep desperation (mainly as I hadn't gotten what I ordered, and I was SHOCKED at the cost of the starter kit and cartridges, good thing they were out of of stock, LOL) as well as the MULTITUDE of other "vape" options there... Since I bought bulk tobacco tubes and an injector, I don't tend to peer much at the cigarettes behind the counter.... There are so many! People actually buy these things! But, if you hear about vaping now, those options can get hyped and recommended....

If that just happens to be what you *adore* and it's working well *for you* then great, except that you are paying a HUGE markup.... I mean, those Juul things last, like, a day, right? I'm sure for me as a 2--3 ppd smoker, it would have been MORE EXPENSIVE than smoking, no thanks (this was really a stopgap measure and I'm glad I didn't buy it).

Plus, the very IDEA of a cig-a-like? That's.... I had to resign/accept that vaping is nothing LIKE a cig, so why would I buy something advertising itself to be similar. I think most vapers have to get to the point where it's not a substitute, it is a seperate ACTIVITY that has differences but is *better*, at least I had to.

You know, I THINK I had those N-Joy drip tips at first and they weren't awful, but they were buggy, annoying, hard to charge, etc., etc. And quite expensive. BUT, I didn't stop smoking, did I? Granted, it may not have been NJOY's fault, since vaping was so new, but they didn't keep me off cigs.

Okay, I better stop before the tobacco police show up at my door. :)
