That is a common problem with LR attys/cartos and why I don't recommend them for the best vaping experience. Plus they degrade quickly and are very inconsistent.
Your best bet is to get a good 5 volt or variable volt/watt model PV. Not only will you get warmer vapor and better throat hit, but with some of the better VV models, they are also have boost circuits that keeps the power from the batteries to the carto/atty constant even as the battery drains, so you have the ultimate in consistency. What you have now is just 3.7 volts. 5 volts or VV, where you can set the power level between 3.7 volt - 6 volts, will definitely give you better TH. And with these models you can use standard resistence cartos/attys that will hold up better or dual coil cartomizers. Here are several that I would look at:
