Howdy folks!

We hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July, and kept all your vaping digits securely in place! Some folks have been curious as to where the Independence Day sale on our site was, and we just want to reassure everyone that there will be a sale AFTER we get our reward point system up and working. It has taken a few days longer than we anticipated, but we are aiming for sometime late next week. The 10% discount will be store-wide for about a week once it is operational. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

An update:

We realize that many of you are still waiting for our Independence Day sale to begin before placing orders. I’m writing this post to hopefully give you all some insight as to why the sale has not happened yet.

First off, we fully expected to have the sale running by now. We knew ahead of time the start date would be vague, yet everything seemed to be in order to have our website updated and ready to go within a day or two of July 4th. Since we are having to wipe out the old reward points with the update to that module, we wanted to give everyone a sale to help accumulate some new points once we confirmed everything was working correctly.

As it turned out, our server hosts had scheduled an upgrade to our server due around the 11th-13th. At the suggestion of our webmaster, we delayed installing the new module (and the sale) by a few more days so we would not need to install the module twice (once on the old server and again on the new), especially since we would need to input all of the reward data generated in the meantime by hand.

When it came time to transfer the website over to the new server, several critical parts of the website ceased to function properly, including the checkout and admin portions of the site. This was the cause of our website going offline for a day or two last week while we reverted the change. Until our server providers can work out the problems with transferring the website, we are unable to make the updates we want and start the sale. We are working with them daily to get things running ASAP.

We understand that many of you wait for our sales to make your e-juice purchases (we try to keep them in line with holidays to make them nice and predictable), and some of you may even be running low on juice. You have our deepest apologies for taking this long to bring you the sale. When it finally does go live, we will be extending the sale beyond our usual length so that more customers can benefit from the reduced costs. As soon as we have concrete information to share, we will be posting it.

This has turned out to be a much more arduous process than we had intended. We appreciate your continued patience and support while we work diligently to get this ironed out. Just to be clear, our website is still working fine but with the reward point calculation bug that we have mentioned in previous posts. If you run into any issues with your reward points (or any other problems), please send us a support ticket and we will get you taken care of ASAP.
