I needed to get some posts so i can start enjoying this forum, i only have one mech mod and one RDA, everything is too damn expensive for me so i have to buy carefully. Ive been vaping for almost two years and got into the good stuff about 8 months ago. I have an authentic atomic rda and a caravela clone. I love my atomic, aside from it being messy but i dont have anything to compare it to so it could be the best or the worst and i wouldn't really know. I also have the Ehpro Caravela copper clone, it does what it is supposed to, the voltage drop seems to be pretty good but like i said i wouldn't really know. The only things i really dont like about it is that the copper is cheap and leaves my hands a green color all the time and also none of the pins fit any of my batteries perfectly, they are all literally just a millimeter off. Other than that it works fine for now. I plan on buying a high end mod within the next few weeks, i just dont know how im going to explain it to my girlfriend. I dont know how a lot of you guys do it, ive seen so many people with more mods than they could ever use, its a little ridiculous but if i had the money i would do it too lol I've been looking at a few i really like. The panzer has always caught my eye. I like everything from MCV, if i could have any mod out there it would be either the new overdose mod, the pegasus, or obviously a caravela, specifically one of the silver or gold ones pedro is planning on making. Who in the hell could spend 30k on a mod idk but all power to him.

I just ordered a copper one, no logos, my kinda thing. From the research that I did before pulling the trigger, a reviewer pointed out that an aois, or what ever mojo named that thing, clone screwed onto it. Only problem was he didn't mention what manufacturer put it out, so I don't know if it was a 1:1. If it was in fact a 1:1 clone, a chi you flat cap should fit. And those have the two stage adjustable positive pin to ensure a snug and flush fit. Now my only problem is finding a 23mm outer diameter dripper!

I don't quite understand the battery problem because with the Caravela you install the battery, and then screw the center post in or out for proper fit and contact. Yes the pin length is a problem, that's why the OEM Caravela comes with three pins. That's also why I like toppers with adjustable center posts.

I prefer brass instead of copper. With brass the drop under load is still acceptable, and the material is far more user friendly.

Yeah, the problem that the 3 pin system has is, it won't let all be flush, every now and then there will be a battery and atty combo that is just a little to long or short. An adjustable center pin on an atty as you pointed out, tj, would solve that problem. I love my igo w w/ a halo cap and unfortunately it has no adjustment, and it's not 23mm :(. I'll have to do some sanding on the pin most likely to get it just right.

Yeah it seems that the short pin is too short, the long one is too long, and the middle one almost fits. The middle sized one fits my efest button top if i leave some threads showing and my aw button top just barley rattles. If my atomic had an adjustable center post it would solve that, but i will probably have to sand down the long one. The efest with a few threads showing doesnt bother me but the Aw has more amperage and is my preferred battery atm and i absolutely hate it being loose. Other than that and my hands being a lil green its a good mod. Ehpro makes pretty nice clones, I just really hope when i do dish out 200 bucks for an authentic mod it is all that i hope it is because 200 bucks is a whole lot for a tube with connection. I also cant wait to get some sony 30 amps so i can go down to some .2 or even .15 ohm builds, 100 watts seems great. My recent problem is that i just started breaking out all over my arms and chest and am pretty sure it is the PG =(, i ordered some 100% VG juice from virgin vapes but usps lost it.

It's a nice feeling buying an authentic mod. For me the feeling only lasted a month. I got a gms about 6 months back, not exactly a high end mod. I highly recommend holding the mod, inspecting every little nook, cranny and thread of the exact one you're going to buy. I found the threads of my authentic worse then my 18 dollar clone, the button and bottom of the tube threads were sharp and poorly done on mine, can't speak on the others produced. also the button was lacking in the comfort department. It's real long and made gripping it weird. I hear great things about the panzer, never bad. they released the Golden Army panzer that looks crazy awesome.
