I don't think it's related to vaping so much as related to stopping smoking period. There are many side-effects of just putting down the cigarettes people don't tell you because they're aren't pretty. My face has been breaking out much more then usual. The toxins are expelling out of your body. If you smoked a long time it can take a while. For whatever reason the pores are often the target. In time, your skin will return to normal.

If you're not entirely sure that its just an ingrown hair, well... when in doubt visit a doctor.

+1 to the increased water intake. In my year of vaping and being smokefree I have had more skin problems including ingrown hairs when I do not hydrate enough. When I force myself to drink lots of water it clears up for me. Since I'm chain vaping (for over a year) this means i need to drink about 12 ounces per hour and that drives me crazy but it's worth it. At least it works for me, give it a try, water is good for you.

I had a reaction to PG in eliquids that caused me to break out and some other mild symptoms. But you've quit so recently that its hard to determine if its from PG or from quitting. ;) My suggestion is give it a few weeks, if doesn't improve gradually then switch to an all VG liquid.. my fave for that is Virgin Vapor. Good luck, and congratulations on quitting!
