initial battery charge

i tried searching this question. im not to good at searching apparently. im supposed to get my joye 510 today, and i hear your possed to charge it 8 hours initially? do you have to do this for optimal use, or is it hurt it to not charge so long?

It should have charge enough for you to use it a bit when you get it. 8 hours is not necessary. Charge it till the light turns green and then its done.

Yep, it has a Li Ion battery with a protective chip in it that stops accepting charge after it hits 4.2 volts.

Once the light turns green, that's as green as it gets!
