Hey guys, I am a relatively new vaper (about 6 months now), and I have found this forum to be a wealth of information to beginners and thought I would seek advice here.
I recently upgraded my rig to the new Innokin CLK 1280 and although I was initially impressed by it, it is causing me some grief...
Occasionally when releasing the fire button after a vape it will continue to fire (in a fashion that seems as though it is doing so at max power) and produces a great amount of heat and sometimes instantly burns out the coil.
I contacted the supplier from whom I bought the device and they exchanged the battery for me, however the new one does the same thing.
I am using either the new Aerotank mini with 1.5 ohm coils, or a pro tank 2 mini with 1.8 ohm coils, and the overfire happens with both tanks connected. The specs for the CLK states that it can support a minimum 1.2 ohm coil up to the recommended 2.5 ohm. Would the low resistance coils be causing this?
(I usually vape with the VV setting in the 3.5 - 4.0 region)
Has anyone else had this issue before?
I appreciate any advice you guys could offer on this matter.
Cheers.
