Just received my New innokin itaste 134, Just Beautiful, Especially as a personal protection device ! Works just fine, Totally Love It. One thing I noticed this morning when the house was Quiet is a very slight hum or buzz from the button, Cant hear it while driving or when the TV is on, But if I put it up to my ear I can hear it, Anyone else heard this ? It dosent seem to affect how its working. Is this normal for this model ? Buzz only when the button is being pressed.
Thanks,
Jim:confused:

Hi,
I picked up a 134 mini a few days ago. I used it for a couple of days exclusively and now I'm rotating it with my other PVs. This morning working in my office before anyone else arrived and I too heard that buzzing when I push the fire button! Don't know what to think. I watched PBousardo's reviews of both the 134 and 134 mini and I don't recall him mentioning the buzz. I'm sure it would have been a thumbs down. It's a bit disconcerting.

I am not sure what the rattlesnake effect is. I think you mean the bubbling of the juice when it gets heated. I'm familiar with that and notice it from time to time on my Provari and my iTaste VTR. This is different. It is a definite buzzing sound.

I just fiddled with the connection of the battery housing to the main unit and the buzzing seems to have gone away. That connection of the battery housing (where you have the option to change to a smaller housing) is not good. You have to fit three pins into the matching holes on the main unit and then use the screw ring to tighten it. It is not easy to get it secure. Maybe that is the problem. Anyway, I now see several threads here on the buzzing issue. thanks for the response.

I just got a mini yesterday and have noticed it as well, but that isn't my main issue. My aero protanks will not fire on the thing. The iclear 30 sometimes has a delay before it fires, and I'm really not digging the iclear 30. Anyone know what could be the cause for this?

I was going to buy another Provari, but I went with this because it looks so cool. I'm not expecting ProVari performance, but it would be nice if it could hang with my VV3's.

Ravensfan,
Sorry to hear about your problems. I have Aero tanks but have not tried to use them with the 134. In fact, since using the iClear 30s and Aspire Nautilus tanks I don't think I'll be using my Aeros any more. I picked up my 134 mini at a B&M store. First time I had been to one. It was an emergency because my other PVs were in my suitcase that didn't arrive with me on my flight. The people there swapped out the iClear 30 for an iClear 30s at my request--don't know why Innoken would not include their latest tank as standard. I've had no problems with the 30s and the 134 mini. The main thing I don't like about the 134 mini (other than that noise which, as I mentioned, I seem to have sorted) is the voltage adjustment ring. I've got the black model and I can't bloody see the voltage numbers on the ring. Have to get the ring in just the right light. Luckily I don't fiddle with the voltage very much unless I'm changing liquids.

Hi, I heard back from Innoken & they told me there should be a slight buzz, from my experience over the past couple weeks using my 134 All Day, Every Day, It Buzzes every time I press the button & It Fires Every Time I press the button, Works Absolutely Perfect. I am a former 3 pack a Day smoker and if I was not satisfied with what I was using I would be .....ing. My set up is an Innoken itaste 134, 9 or 10 watts with an Aspire Nautilus with a 1.8 head. I was concerned when I first got it & heard the noise, Thats why I contacted Innoken, But I am now totally confident & not worried at all.

Most of the time when I look at that thing I have to laugh.

Hey, that is exactly why I want one. Because it's totally ridiculous, but in a somewhat awesome way.

I'm not going to buy one though, because my significant other has already ordered one for herself. Gonna borrow that one instead. ;)

I bought it from a B&M as well. I think I may go back there today to have them look at it.

I have a Mini and 2 Aerotanks, one works and one doesn't. In the one that doesn't the positive post is slightly recessed so is not making a connection with the mod. If you have a small screwdriver you can pull the center pin on the 134 out slightly and it should connect. The center pin is held in by a 'rubber' grommet and is movable to degree.
