I have one and like it quite a bit. Very easy to use and built like a tank. The battery will last forever, and you can even charge your phone off of the PV in a pinch.
Be careful of the charging port. Seems that is the first thing to give up the ghost. Mine is still good.
I have one and really like it, mine is used as a back up device. I use an RBA on mine and can work through the battery charge in a day, chain vaping-lol.

Is it easy to repair if they ever give up ? Sounds to me like the built-in quality of the device is not that stellar after all... I'm just stuck between getting the MVP or the Vamo or even a small form factor device like the mvp.

I couldn't elaborate on the repairing of the issue. Have yet to hear of someone soldering (sp) it back together-or repairing what ever breaks when the port breaks.
Mine's a "v2", which supposedly took care of the weak charging port, the micro usb. No problems at all.
