I've heard evic break easily...
My vamo is still alive after many of serious drop! Haha

I heard the same thing when I was asking for advice a lot of people chimmed in where they said their evics gave them problems or completely stopped working (one of my choices was an evic from a local source for $90 slightly used with a protank 2 and 2 dcts) and everyone said I should look into something else..

I started looking around and watched pbusardos review on the SVD and so thats what I got, I got it for $60 tube only at sweet-vapes.com located in wyoming.

It was shipped Tuesday and I got Thursday around 2pm, spent $110 and some change with both 18650 and 18350 batteries, charger and protank 2, shipment insurance and delivery confirmation and Im extremely satisfied!!!

Huge difference in both flavor and vapor from my ego-c twist

Don't tell my evic that. I've dropped it so many times I'm amazed i haven't cracked the display.

i bought the evic last saturday and love it. also i will be buying a vtr this weekend because the thing is amazing. imo it hits harder and the overall design is something to see in real life. the square box is actually pretty nice in your hand.i also have a mechanical and i use that just for blowing clouds. really you cant go wrong with the three you are looking at. Ive used the svd to and it is a very nice mod. i really like the telescopic ability of the svd. HAPPY VAPING

Love the VTR, don't care what people think. Wanted a box mod..... Vaping on my ZMAX in public made people ask if I was eating a vibrator..... Now they think I have a walkie talkie or a shortwave radio

You just talked me out of ZMAX or any other large tube mod :D

My Evic just burned out and I'm looking for a replacement. I'm thinking VTR... but what am I gonna do with my 18350's?

The original eVic did break easily, due to the control had design, it was only held together with glue and would pop apart, causing the really small wires inside to break. JoyeTech fixed that problem with the 2nd version by putting a couple of set screws in the head that help keep it from coming apart.

I have dropped my eVic more times than I care to admit, and until last Saturday I have never had a problem. That all changed though, and I had my first casualty since I started using the eVic in May, I dropped my eVic and my Protank glass broke and the delrin drip tip shattered. The eVic however was fine. It is battered, scratched, generally looks like hell these days, but still going strong. I will likely buy another one if/when I kill it from my abuse. As always though ... YMMV!

Hehe nice! I bought one of the 10$ grippers to use my 18350s,... Great backup or whatever, and use it for sampling new flavors with a mini carto tank http://www.madvapes.com/gripper.html
Copied Baditude 's gripper setup from the forum here, love it

Barely use it though because I always have my VTR in hand

How big is the VTR compared to the MVP? I have the MVP 2, and I was thinking that the VTR looked really nice. If is isn't much bigger, and since I don't mind the box shape of the MVP.... Really, I've been thinking of buying another VV v3 as my husband stole mine, but if I'm going to buy something and I'm sticking with vaping for a while, perhaps I should invest in something with replaceable batteries instead. Or maybe I should just get both....

I don't know how much bigger it is than the MVP2 but I hear it's one of the heavier VV mods out there if not the heaviest according to pbusardo review. The one thing I wasn't personally thrilled with is unlike MVP2 it's PWM, not a fan of PWM and the rattlesnake effect. YMMV Happy Vaping :toast:

Cheers,
Steve

I have a halo tritton as my backup.
As far as money is concerned I would rather pay an extra $10 to get a better performing mod.
The SVD, VTR, and eVic are all close to $100

I like the VTR a lot but I feel like it would be awkward to vape in public with it because people would be like ... is that guy smoking on.

I ordered an SVD from Fastteck just the unit tho no starter kit since I already have the charger and batteries for 37.00$
