Hey all,
I have a Itaste SVD, and the firing button is starting to go. I have been searching everywhere for a fix for this and haven't been able to find much. I've tried a few different things (tightening negative spring, different batteries, etc.) but nothing has completely solved the problem.
So my question is, has anyone found a fix for the firing button?
Or what are some VV/VW mods similar to the SVD?

My svd has just stopped as well. Putting in a battery everything lights up as it should but it won't turn on. If I shook and banged it enough I could get it to turn on for a couple of draws but it kept turning itself off and now no matter what I do it won't turn on, so I'm putting it down to the main button as well. Mines only about 6 month old. I'll keep a watch on this post in case someone does have a repair. Good luck.

No fix that I know of.

Unfortunately, being a Made in China mod means no manufacturer support. The business model is "We make cheap, you buy cheap. It break, you buy another." :D

Just another reason to spend some extra cash and buy a USA made Provari. Built to be more dependable and durable, and in the rare event that it does break, you can get it fixed.

Or, you could buy a couple of SVD-like Chinese mods and hope that you get lucky that one will last. Your money, your choice.

Why Provari?

I have been considering a provari. My only question is the button functions of it. From what I can tell it only has one main button, so is that used for altering volts and watts as well?

The 2.5 version Provari is variable voltage only. (The yet-to-be-released P3 will add variable wattage.)

Both versions use a single button menu to access all functions. It's actually not difficult to learn. I mastered it within 10 minutes of playing around with my first Provari.

Go to the 4 min 10 sec part of the following demo of the Provari for the menu directions.
