I mixed up the Power Setting mode for my iTaste VV v3 with my iTaste MVP but had a great experience with 101vape.

I ordered a second VV v3 because this is my favorite (so far) battery controller for outside the house. I use the iTaste MVP at home but it's a bit large for shirt pocket carry. When I first fired it up, I could not get into Power control mode because I had mixed up the instructions in my mind.

Thinking that the factory must have made a mistake because the sealed box was labeled v3 (version 2 had only Voltage control).

I went to the 101vape.com website to file an RMA and I see a phone number! I called and they checked the manual (I hadn't because I "knew" this product) and this one has you hold down the upper tiny button while you press the big smoke trigger button to access Power mode.

VOILA! I should always reread the manual when problems occur. This handy tech support saved me a lot of trouble and, while I started shopping at 101vape for the prices, the fast shipping and knowledgeable support are top shelf.

I got my iTaste VV 3 back around September/October of last 2013. As far as I know, & I have googled this, that is the only way to switch between voltage & power(wattage) control on the iTaste VV 3. I used to have a really hard time switching modes & could never remember the actual correct method, after Googling it several times over the last few months I have finally been able to switch modes rather easily.

I will say my Vamo v5 is much easier to switch, & has allowed me to experiment with different settings to find what works best for my PT2, PT3, & Davide BDC tanks.

You are correct, carhauler1969. I have edited my OP to reflect that I confused the MVP with VV instructions.

i saw on this website that just increasing/decreasing the vw on the itaste vv/vw version 3.0 is enough, just work out what works for you and dont worry about the vv.

just find the setting you like and stick to it.

its worked for me.

i hope we are talking about the same mod.

its as easy as holding down the plus sign, then the power button for 2 seconds, then adjusting the setting, done....
