Hi, today let's take a look at the Kroma Nova Pod Kit sent to me by innokin. In this Test I will examine each of the characteristics that distinguish this item. On the front of the box presents the image of the Kit together with the list of the main features, Innokin reminds us of the use of the new PZP coils. On the back they are listed; the warnings, the packing list, the scratch&check, the QR-Code and the address of Shenzhen Innokin Technology Co., Ltd. On the sides of the box are shown; a partial image of the Kit and the autographed signatures of P.Busardo and Vapingreek who collaborated with Innokin on the development of this kit.

► Innokin Kroma Nova Pod Kit; First Impressions:
Innokin with the collaboration of Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis (VapinGreek) evolves this project taking inspiration from the original Kroma Z, thus the Kroma Nova 60W is born which uses a new coil platform called PZP, according to Innokin these resistors raise the quality of vaping to new levels and allow quicker and cleaner coil changes. Starting to handle the Kroma Nova, an excellent tactile feeling is immediately established thanks to finely crafted decorations, furthermore the ergonomics of the device in the hand are very good thanks to a truly compact form factor in relation to the enormous 3,000mAh battery which is integrated within the mod.

► Innokin Kroma Nova Pod Kit; How it is made:
I received two different colors of Kroma Nova for this test; VINTAGE RED & AZURE BLUE. Kroma Nova is available in 8 different colors, I have to say that the two color variants I received are really beautiful, the paint on the mod appears well distributed and of high quality. On the bottom of Kroma Nova are the data of the enormous 3,000mAh internal battery, the base has a large footprint on the ground which gives the mod great stability, even when charging. Powered by a large 3000mAh internal battery, KROMA NOVA delivers consistent performance with long life. I managed to get 416 puffs at 30W selected, the charging time with a speed of 1.7A, is quite fast. You can accurately monitor your battery life percentage in the OLED display, so you'll never run out of power while on the go.

The side profile of Kroma Nova with its sporty design shows all its charm, starting from the top you can see the cartridge sloping on one side perfectly connected with the cut of the mod. The air intakes underneath are opposed on both sides and imitate those of a sports car. The slots for the passage of air are adjustable using the slider knob located on the handle of the Mod. On the metal part of the frame you can see the writing "Kroma Nova" on one side and the writing "Innokin" on the other side. The soft synthetic leather covering integrates perfectly into the frame and extends to the back of the Mod. The grip is comfortable, at the top there is the slider button for adjusting the air flow which is capable of managing a large RDL flow but also a narrow MTL flow. The handle is embellished with two parallel vertical stitchings and the "NOVA" writing heat-branded on the synthetic leather.

The Kroma Nova compartment/pod houses inside a raised surface equipped with two powerful magnets that ensure a perfect connection with the cartridge, in the center there is a round hole to allow the coil to enter partially until it reaches the two contact pins present on the bottom of the compartment.

The control panel consists of a long vertical smoke screen that extends from top to bottom above the USB-C charging socket. This screen also has the fire button function and it is really convenient to click it because you don't need to be precise with your fingers. The "+ and -" adjustment keys are slightly protruding round in shape, easily identifiable with the fingers. The OLED display with user interface (UI) is very bright with its white background color and allows you to easily monitor some information such as; lock/unlock the mod, remaining percentage of battery charge, set power, resistive value, last puff time.

► Innokin Kroma Nova Pod Kit; Operation Guide:
To turn the mod on/off, 3 clicks on the fire button, you can adjust the power from 6 to 20W with steps of 0.5W at a time and from 20 to 60W with steps of 1W at a time. To access the secondary screen, press the fire button and the "+" button at the same time, they will be shown on the screen; the current voltage in Volts and the puffs counter. To lock/unlock the mod, press the fire button and the "-" button at the same time. To access the menu, press the "+" and "-" adjustment keys simultaneously, you can then adjust the cutoff or adjust the display timeout.

► Innokin Kroma Nova: PZP Cartridge;
The Kroma Nova cartridge is made of PC and PCTG and allows you to install any 510 type drip-tip, in the kit there are two drip-tips, one is suitable for MTL and the other is suitable for RDL. The top cap is sliding and offers you a very convenient refill without detaching the cartridge from the mod. The filling slot is protected by an anti-leak membrane, so you can comfortably insert the tip of the bottle and introduce up to 3ml of e-liquid. Despite the dark color of the cartridge, the level of e-liquid inside is sufficiently visible during the check. The plug-and-play design of this cartridge allows for quick installation of the PZP coil, just press the coil inside the cartridge and pull it out with your nails when you need to replace it.

► Innokin Kroma Nova: PZP Coils;
PZP Coils boast a new mesh structure with an updated breathable material to provide intense flavor and longer coil life.
Innokin's new PZP Coils platform is offered with 4 different resistive values to embrace a wide range of MTL-RDL users. KROMA NOVA with SMART ID function intelligently identifies the resistance of the installed coils and automatically suggests the appropriate initial wattage. The new Innokin PZP Coils can be purchased as replacements in blister packs of 3 pieces each.

► Innokin Kroma Nova Pod Kit; Vaping Test & Final Conclusions:
For the vaping test I used Hypnos TOB diluted at 10% with 50/50 VGG and with 3mg/ml of boost.

• PZP Coil 1.0Ω (9-13W):
With this coil (pre-installed) the Smart ID chipset chooses an initial power of 12W, I started my test with a selected power of 10W. First of all I installed the narrowest drip-tip (MTL) supplied, and I patiently soaked the coil cotton. The 1.0Ω PZP Coil immediately returns a good flavor with well-represented sweet notes, the vapor has a notable mass despite the low power of 10W, the clouds are fresh and basically dry, you can completely close the AFC and you will get a MTL shot perfectly choked with a decent hit. Traces of condensation are almost absent and after long use they are very minimal and easily controllable. You can go up in power up to 13W; the flavor becomes more concentrated and the vapor becomes slightly hotter. This coil in combination with the gigantic 3,000mAh battery is able to offer you practically infinite autonomy!

• PZP Coil 0.4Ω (30-40W) DTL/RDL:
With this coil the Smart ID chipset chooses an initial power of 30W, with this power I started my test. First of all I installed the largest drip-tip supplied, and patiently soaked the coil cotton. I know my e-liquid well, and the flavor that the 0.4Ω PZP Coil is able to provide immediately bewitched me with a rare fidelity that is difficult to find on other coils. The nuances of flavor are amplified to the maximum, with a large amount of white, moist and dense clouds to accompany it. Playing with airflow it's easy to get a really satisfying strong hit. Going up to 35-40W the flavor concentration seems to increase even more for my pure enjoyment, with the partialized air flow the shot is always fluid and even by opening the AFC to maximum the flavor doesn't lose anything. The PZP Coils 0.4Ω generates some residual condensation in the pod compartment which is easily removed at the end of the day with a cloth, nothing annoying.

In summary I found several points in favor of kroma Nova, first of all the Kit is ergonomic with a nice appearance, easy to use even for beginners and offers great performance in both MTL and RDL with a fantastic flavor thanks to the new PZP coils. The air flow regulation system is precise and comfortable to operate. The battery life is incredibly long and is well managed by the intelligent chipset which, in addition to automatically regulating the power of each coil, guarantees a balanced discharge while maintaining the power constant until the end. The new top filling system is smooth and makes refilling e-liquid as easy as drinking a glass of water. To conclude I think that this device is particularly suitable for vapers who do not want to waste time to successfully switch from MTL to RDL, furthermore the quality/price ratio of Kroma Nova is extremely convenient.
