Okay, so they released the specs (maybe you all know already, but thought I'd post here)...notice the istick colors! 3800mah battery, not too shabby.

[COLOR=#303030 !important][h=2]The iTaste MVP3.0 is Coming![/h]I just got an e-mail for Innokin announcing that the new iTaste MVP3.0 is now available for wholesale purchases. The iTaste MVP 3.0 is the latest addition in the iTaste MVP line of e-cigarettes. Past devices include the iTaste MVP 2.0 and the iTaste MVP 20w.
The iTaste MVP 3.0 has been redesigned and upgraded based on the feedback from the vaping community. It features a power output of up to 30 watts and can fire atomizers from 0.4ohms to 2.5ohms. This makes it a great device to power the latest sub-ohm tanks.
Along with the ability to adjust the output wattage you can also adjust the voltage output from 3.0 to 9.0 volts in o.1 volt increments. The iTaste MVP3.0 uses vRMS technology which provides superior performance and accuracy with a power deviation of 0.1 watt. This means you are always going to be vaping at the power output you select, this accurate power output provides a better vaping experience.
Since the iTaste MVP 3.0 can power atomizer as low as 0.4 ohms a large battery is a must and Innokin delivered. The iTaste MVP 3.0 has a built in Li-Ion rechargeable battery with a huge 3800mah capacity for all day vaping. Like the previous MVP’s you can also use this devices battery to recharge other electronics via its USB output port.
The design of the MVP 3.0 is a bit different from previous versions. The first thing I noticed is that they moved the firing switch to the side of the device and changed the position of the OLED screen and two adjustment buttons. The positions are very similar to all the other box mods released recently. The 510 connection is flush like the MVP 20w but it will come with an ego adapter, the spring loaded contact pin is gold plated for improved conductivity.
They didn’t include exact measurements for the MVP 3.0 but I suspect that it’s a bit bigger then the MVP 2.0 or MVP 20w.
You will be able to purchase the iTaste MVP3.0 from authorized Innokin vendors in early February 2015.

Innokin should've released this device way before now it's way to late to release a 30w device now when there are so many 150w devices available . I started out using innokin devices "svd" got me away from the analogs but I've since then went to mechanic and 100w regulated devices.

Not everyone cares about those kind of devices though. The only thing I don't like about my MVP 20W is that it looks dumb with any tank that has a base bigger than 19mm. Judging by the pictures, it looks like 22mm tanks will fit perfectly on it, but that's just me assuming those are normal size RDAs.

I'll be getting one as soon as I see a good sale.

in my short course of 5 months vaping, I've gone from VV sticks, to an MVP2, to an IPV mini. I'm not necessarily on the hunt for more power, I'm on the hunt for more battery life. I'm using Samsung 25Rs in my mini and one doesn't last a day. I vape my 1.2 to 1.3 ohm coils on my kayfuns around 13 to 14 watts. I don't consider that too high. Since I don't run for high wattage, I'll probably be looking to pick one up for my 6 month. I'm thinking I'll finally get more than a day on a single charge.

You really think that you will get 3800mah ?

No, you won't be able to actually use all that capacity. Pretty much all devices with built in batteries will cut off before the battery completely drains to avoid damage to the battery. And performance usually drops when the battery gets low. However it still beats the istick 20w and 30w battery capacity by more than 50%, and comes pretty close to the 50w istick.

I hope they don't think they are gonna be able to price this like they did the 2.0. Not with so much competition. And some of that having more power.

30w seems to be a good sweet spot for those that don't drip or run sub ohm. I don't think this one is too late at all.

If the price point is reasonable I may consider one as a backup/kick-around.

I think they really missed the boat by not being out for Christmas. Yes, the price point must be good. The MVP2 had its own field with little competition for much of 2014. Since then, a lot of mods have come out to challenge the MVP2. In the last months of 2014, numerous companies have moved to smaller mods and upped their features. One feature that seems to get attention is USB chargeable batteries that are replaceable. There are smaller mods with 2 x 18650s.

Anyway, their is competition, it is already out and MVP3 is behind.

IMHO

Behind yes. Too late? I don't think. There is plenty of market for 30w devices. It is a very popular power range. But every day Innokin does not have the MVP 3 on the shelves is a bunch of sales they are losing. They have a very big fan base. These will sell I'm sure. But they better hurry up before the MVP 3 becomes irrelevant.

No way it is worth that price when you can get an IPV Mini, Smok M65 or a Sigilei Mini 30w for under $50. Hell you can get an IPV Mini II 70w for under $65. MVP 3 will be extremely irrelevant at that price. $45 would be a better price point.

You're overlooking one big detail. For $60 the MVP3.0 comes with a 3800 mAh battery. For $50 those devices don't come with a battery. Once you add the cost of a pair of 2500 mAh batteries and a decent charger the total cost is $80+. And Innokin's testing/quality control is better than most. It's very rare to hear of issues/defective units with most of Innokins mods. The same can't be said for those other devices.

I agree.

But if you already have batteries and a charger then the game is different.

I think Innokin is great, Have 2 MVP20W's and no replaceable battery mods of any kind so....

What works for me at the moment is reliable pass-trough capable built in battery mods.

That does change things somewhat, though even then for $10 more you get a device with more battery capacity and almost certainly better quality control. The price isn't really out of line with those other devices. Plus Innokins target market isn't really people who already have multiple mods and a collection of batteries. Their market has always been easy to use devices for new vapers and the average vaper that just wants a simple, reliable device. Despite what many on here think, the average vaper doesn't want to mess with removable batteries. They want something simple that they just plug in like their cell phone, tablet, etc. I've been seeing a lot of vapors at the bars/clubs around here lately. For every person I see with a removable battery mod I probably see 10-15 with an Ego type battery, iStick, MVP, etc.
