Could anyone give me some advise please.
I purchased an innokin Svd in June. It came with the I30 clearomizer. I started burning wicks really quickly. So I bought a pro tank 2 this week.

I have gone through 3 wicks in 3 days.
Is it possible that the unit is putting out two much power. I usually have it on 3.5 volts.
Getting very frustrated.

What is the ratio of PG/VG in your juice? What's the resistance on the heads in your Protank?

What flavor of juice as well. The darker it tends to be the faster it gums up and then needs to be dry burned to restore it. My dark vanilla butternut tobacco leaves me needing to dry burn my heads every 1-2 days depending on usage

How much do you vape in a day? Do you chain vape (just keep hitting the power button and puffing for extended time periods)? Do you clean, or at least rince your coils after every tank full or two?

I use a 100% VG unflavoured liquid. 2.3 resistance.

I don't think I over use it. Normally go through 3 mil of liquid in 2 days?

that's pretty unusual.
Are the wicks just DEAD?
Are these "real" Kanger coils, or did you perhaps get copies with an SVD from FastTech?
I use an SVD with ProTanks and EVODs, and I've been doing REALLY well with coils lately (KNOCK ON WOOD) - like weeks.

Coils are Kanger, 1.8 to 2.4, and I tend to vape around 8 watts

As far as I know they are genuine heads. The hit from the protank on the SVD at 3 volts is really harsh. I tried the tank on a non adjustable 3 volt battery and it was really smooth. I just think the unit i have is faulty

I think the solution will be to buy a Vamo.

Hmm. Are you removing the flavor wicks from your pt heads. 100% vg should benefit from removing them and maybe they are causing your other issues? Just a thought before you attempt to return or replace.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are flavour wicks? I am just putting the head into the base.

I am on a cell and unable to easily link it for you but if you pop the chimney off of the head you will see 2 1mm wicks that are layed over the coil and main wick assembly. Their removal may cause gurgling but at 50/50 and above it does not occur too often if at all. I think you can youtube how to do it. You may also want to look up dry burning to bring some life back to the other heads.
