About 70% of the comments I have read about the ucan report it leaking. Maybe it is just natural for people with faulty devices to be more vocal, but still, almost everyone that talks about this online reports it to be faulty. I never see people defending it.

So, I thought I would ask: do you have a ucan? Does it leak? If it does leak, have you found a fix?

I ordered one myself the other day, but based on what I've read so far it's a risky purchase.

Also, alternatives to the ucan? I've seen people using zippo lightfluid canisters and a "duratool precision oiler" (google it) so far. There's also a knockoff ucan on vapetime.co.uk which is just pure steel, no logos, which I prefer actually.

I also want the U-can pretty badly but all the leaking talk has deterred me from buying it. Those of you with leaks, what %VG juice are you using? I want it for dripping on the go with 100% VG and i wondered if the thicker juices wouldn't leak as easily. I have 3 of the version 2 , use them everyday for around the last 3 months with 70 VG 30 PG and no leaks. I always drip and the drops are smaller so I have to use 10 drops compared to 5 drops with a plastic bottle. After you use them for a while you kinda know when they are almost empty so I only open them to refill.

I was thinking about getting one, but to my eye the filling needle looks too short to deal with an RBA juice hole. Has anyone used one with an RSST or AGA-T2?

I have had and used one for 9 months now with my eroll and have not had any leaks in pocket slight leak into top cap and get spillage wen unscrewing but all in all a good Vaping tool

I've never figured out why people want a U-can... doesn't the juice you buy COME in a bottle with a dripper?

Although, they do make nice little mods

The appeal to me is that you drip with a button and not by squeezing the bottle, and the long needle tip. This allows me to drip in the car, drip in the dark, fill my kayfuns and gennys without needing to find a needle tip, and a few other things. It's not a must-have but it's nice to have if you drip a lot.

i've only had one (the v2) for a week or so now, but it's holding up very well so far. i'll post if there's any leaks

I have had a v2 for 2 months & not leaking. My only issue is that the tip was slightly bent out of the package. Just put some pressure on it to bend it back. Been working great! It does get a few drops in the top cap but nothing major.

I'm not sure what version I have but I did notice a very minimal bit of leaking at first. To fix it, I found an o-ring at the hardware store that fit up above the threads in the middle section. It hasn't leaked a drop since.

How do you know which version you have? Does the fact that mine doesn't say which version mean that it's version 1?

And, about the OP's question: I don't know if it leaks because I never quite got around to trying it. I had heard about possible leaks and just threw it in a drawer to try out some day.

I've had one for over a year, no leaks as long as you snug everything down really good.

I use mine as a backup bottle when I'm away from home. Keep it filled with some gnarly tobacco juice for those times when you're in a pinch and need something good.

You can tell what version you have by looking at how long the needle is & comparing to pictures, the needle is different between v1 and v2

Here's a picture of my U-can next to the aluminum needle-tip bottle that I bought from FT. Can you tell from the picture if it's V1 or V2?

It's a V1. You can tell by the short needle.
