I have begun a job mowing and weed eating at the local lake and I often vape but the risk of losing my vape while mowing and dirtying with grass has become a concern. I love using jack links shredded beef jerky like dip to keep me entertained while I ride the zero turn but I'm wondering if I can add a few drops of e liquid and make my own nicotine dip with no nasty tobacco I obviously wouldn't swallow of the spit. Please Don't give me lip about adding e liquid to stuff please I've seen threads on making hard candy with drops of e liquid. Thanks!!!

Have you tried snus?

The issue I can think of with adding liquid to jerky is that the nicotine will probably be gone pretty quickly and you'd probably end up swallowing a lot even if you didn't intentionally swallow it. In the gum I believe they have it conjugated chemically so that it releases relatively slowly. I'm not sure about lozenges, but there absorption would be somewhat limited by how slowly the lozenge dissolves in your mouth. I don't really know.

Yeah, so here's a description of how they have the nicotine bound in gums and lozenges.

Nicotine Polacrilex is nicotine bound to an ion-exchange resin (polymethacrilic acid, such as Amberlite IRP64 or Purolite C115HMR...). It is added to gums and hard lozenges used for nicotine replacement therapy in smoking cessation. The use of the polymer as a delivery system maximizes the amount of nicotine released and absorbed by the oral mucosa. 80 to 90 percent of the nicotine released from the gum is absorbed by the mouth. Side effects of the gum include bad taste, nausea, dyspepsia, and stomatitis.

That's from Wikipedia.

or..... you can put 1 drop of juice on your tongue and swirl it around your mouth when you want a nic hit :)

And let the burning begin....just know that ulcers can develop from putting nicotine in the mouth. I hate the taste and effect of juice even if it were labeled "cold hard cash"!

Thanks for the feedback! so overall bad idea Lmao. I'll have to get a lanyard but I'll try the tape today and get back with y'all

Bear in mind that although skin can absorb substances, but for topical use it may not fair well for the lack of additives used in topical meds such as nicotine patches to aid in trans-dermal use/efficacy.

That and the tape may not stick to a sweaty body very well:lol:

Might be better off to get the real nicotine patch and save the PG/VG for the intended use.:D
