Thwe only time I had this happen is once when I vapede some 26mg newport flavored juice, I usually vape 18mg, but figured I'd be fine, so I vaped away and about an hour and .5ml later myt heart was racing and I was light headed so I lay down on the couch, next thing I know I'm half asleep half awake and having the most god aweful strange and vivid dreams like 3 or 4 dreams at once, it seemed like forever, but when I woke up, it had only been like 20 min since I lay down

Well I remember when I was 16...
I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and ended up in a psychiatric unit. I couldn't smoke (I was on self injury watch, burning self is too easy) and so i was using lozenges and the patch, they wouldn't let us use either of those within 2 hours of sleep because of the vivid dreams they cause.

When i was younger I was also diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, a question, does nicotine in general seem to help with the parnoia and the hallucinations a lot? nor is that part all in my head and just a part of my justifying my smoking?

It always seemed to help me, but I've had people say it's impossible, but then again I had people tell me it was impossible for ciggies to get rid of my canker sores, but when I was a kid I'd always have 5-10 in my mouth, and a week after a started smoking I never had one since

Is till have a few eppisodes, not as bad as when I was younger, I have scars on my arms from trying to cut out the "bugs" I thought the government/my parents had planted in my to spy on me, my dad said nothing was wrong with me I just wanted attention then beat my ... some more lol

But once I started smoking, things seemed to level off a little unless I got beligerantly drunk, and I always wondered if it was the smoking or they just happened together by coincidence or if it was the nicotine, everything I've read says nicotine could help but that it is uncertain. It's really the onyl reason I have no interest in cutting down my nicotine, I can deal with the occaional situation like I have now, but I dont ever want to risk going back to how it was when I was yopunger

Nicotine as Therapy

Which suggest my theory about when Is tarted smoking may be right, and also confirms in my mind that because of that and other health benifits, I will not cut out nicotine from my life. Heck I didnt even start vaping to quit smoking, I only started vaping cause I saw a disposable that was cheaper than buying cigs, tried it, and loved it lol Didnt even want to touch a cig since

My brother has schizophrenia, I did a lot of research and my son was taking alot of biology and psychiatry in college, we found an article regarding smoking and the effects on schizophrenia. From what I remember nicotine actually has a good effect on the neurotransmitters for schizophrenic brains. Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, ( constricts the blood vessel) usually not a good thing , but since the neurotransmitters are overactive on those with schizophrenia, the nic actually slows this down. You could look this up on some of the medical sites, I dont know if I saved the article.

I am with the others, it sounds like a bit too much nic considering you are a light smoker.

But, funny how symptoms of too much and too little can be similar. I tried Chantix twice. Both times I had crazy vivid dreams for the first 3 or 4 nights. Chantix is to nicotine like Narcan is to opiates, it blocks the nicotine receptors and puts you into instantaneous withdrawal. Thus, crazy vivid dreams.
Ultimately, Chantix didn't work for me, but the dreams.... I've never had anything like them.

The craziest, most detailed dreams I've ever had were (years ago) when I slept with the nicotine patch.

After quitting smoking and switching to vaping, I've had vivid dreams. At first they were all about smoking... Accidentally smoking, sneaking around to smoke, even dreams where I had my PV, but... lit it with a lighter (and then thinking, uhhh, that kind of defeats the point, eh?).

Most recently I've come back around to vivid dreams that aren't about smoking! In my dream last night, I was in a house with a couple college buddies and.. Angel (you know, Buffy and Angel?), where these creepy zombie/demon things were trying to attack everyone outside the house, and I was the only one inside.

They all made it safely back inside the house, no worries!!

Anyway, I always enjoyed the dreams. But I always attributed it to the nicotine.

If they bother you, you can always cut down your nicotine levels after your after-dinner vape (or around that time) and see if they go away. If you recently switched over to vaping, they might take a while to calm down (as mine did), but reducing your nicotine level at night should help! Good luck!
