Has anyone tried fine steel wool? It, to me would seem to serve the same purpose, that is to hold the juice. I'm wondering if the heat from the atomizer would be distributed more evenly through the fine steel filaments, providing a more fuller vaper and quicker wicking down. Obviously, I don't know how it would taste. I was just wondering, that's all.

First, yes, fine stainless would be what I'd get. Secondly, on the rust. You do realize that your blood already contains iron, right? When you cut yourself your blood hits the O2 and oxidizes and turns red from essentiantally rusting? Also, this wouldn't be the most nastiest thing I've ever inhaled. I worked Commercial Tile and Marble installation for 9 years. There were times when I would have to grind down the cement slab in a machine shop bathroom before installation with nothing more than my T-shirt pulled up over my nose. In First and Second grade the Art teacher had us make sculptures and ashtrays, guess what we used? Asbestos! Eh, you only live once :)

I have been working in your trade for 30+ years and tile, stone and cement dust are probably the least harmful things I have put in my body.
I say go for it.It can't be any worse than plastic fuzz.Would like to hear results.

I would almost guarantee - you could taste metal. Of course some ppl aren't bothered by this taste and some are...

For instance that lovely metal taste when you have no papers and you smoke tobacco from a can-pipe.

Or when you lose your glass pipe screen and have to smoke tobacco on a metal screen instead.

Seems like some ppl can tell the difference and others can't. I don't like tasting metal, I like tasting smoke (vapor.)

I had to get out of it - Doc's orders. Two shoulder reconstructions because I completely wore out the shoulder ball and socket. I had a egg and a saucer plate from grouting and spreading thinset. The first time I had the butchers down at the VA do the first reconstruct. They completely screwed up. Then my hours with the local caught up with me and I had real medical insurance. The second time an orthopedic surgeon who specialized in sports injuries did it. He had to take bone from my hip, grind it down, grind a socket bowl and reshape my shoulder ball. Now I've got two really expensive drywall screws holding things together. The shoulder still sounds a little crunchy and ratchety at times, but at least it doesn't dislocate when I sneeze anymore. Good luck with them knees and Happy Vapes!
