after setting my ecig down for a little while i went to draw on it and nothing, tried again nothing (battery just came off the charger), one more time and still nothing. took the cart off the atty dropped a drop tried "tail piping" (i think thats the term) nothing for the first 2 hits then it started working. anyone ever experienced this? its like the atty wasnt heating. i have been making sure to keep juice in the carts. Its working fine now but just took it a few minutes to prime up i guess. any ideas?

What you describe sounds like your atomizer was dry.

Maybe the cartridge is nearly out of juice.
Putting a drop on it might have gotten you vapor for a drag or three.
But then you'll be back to getting nothing again.

But if that were the case, you should have gotten some pretty bad tasting drags prior to putting it down last time, which you did not mention happening.

Maybe to much juice, flooded? When an atty is slightly flooded it has to evaporate some juice before it can get up to temp.
Could be that too.
:)

Maybe when you left it sitting for awhile a bunch of juice ran out of the cartridge filler and down into the atomizer. But that is somewhat unlikely with standard cartridge filler, and I assume you haven't been messing with your cartridge filler.

Might want to read through the post linked in my signature.
There might be some answers in there for you.

I know it wasn't to dry as i had just filled the cart before i put it up. As for flooding i blew though it and got very little out (few specks on a paper towel. then i added 1 drop took 2 more times before i got any vapor. i just pulled it back out after letting it sit for a minute and it didn't do it again so it may have been an ID10T error or a SUE (stupid user error)
