Intro Advice for a Newbie?

Hi there, I am about to order my first e-cigarettes and I could use some advice if anyone has some time.

These products seem to have very consumer-unfriendly names and I'm confused. I want something that looks and acts a lot like a cigarette. My choices (I'm in Ireland) seem to be:

Mini E-Cigarette Starter Kit (Model: DSE-901) - White with Orange LED
or
Mini E-Cig (Joye-510)

I am totally not clear on the difference, if any, between them.

Once I pick one, I would also like to order some cartridges to go with it, so I need to choose Low, Medium or High. I smoke 40 Marlboro Lights a day, so what should I order?

I also want to order a good supply, but am unclear how many cartridges I can - or should - go through in a week.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Finding the right strength is going to be a trial and error kind of thing - everyone is different. I would suggest getting some liquid in small sample sizes of differing strengths to find out what you are comfortable with. Or you can order 2 liquids of the same flavor, 1 in 0 nic and the other in the highest available. You can mix the two till you find a strength that you are comfortable with.

Welcome to ECF. The 510 and 901 are different types of e-cigs. I'm not very familiar with either of them (just to make it more confusing I use a completely different style- Kr808d) - but the 510 is one of the most recommended styles. I'd recommend getting a variety of strengths of carts, and extra e-liquid since the carts can be refilled. Different people have different needs for nic, and it's not always a direct correlation with the amount you smoked. That said, I smoked a pack and a half a day and use 1-2 ml of 18-24mg/ml liquid (high) per day. I think that 1-3 ml/day is fairly average use.

I suspect some other people who are more familiar with the 510 and 901 will jump in here and give you a bit more model specific information.

I will jump the KR808 bandwagon with CES. I have since graduated to an EGO, and a Super Tornado, but us an adapter and KR808 carts.
