Good morning everyone!

I thought I'd introduce myself... I live in Cincinnati and I'm 35. I started smoking a pack of analogs daily when I was 17.

I have been researching e-cigs for a WHILE. My friends let me try a couple of different styles; my friends that have ecigs still smoke analogs. That tells you something.

Since it's expensive to buy a starter kit, I wanted to be aure I was getting something I would use. I read a lot of great pointers on this site along the way: learned about direct dripping (which I planned on doing) and local vendors.

The only thing that was stopping me from taking the final leap was impatience... I would get ready to place an online order and then realize I'd smoke a carton before I ever got the kit!

Yesterday I went to Trader's World because I read (here at ECF) that there were a couple of different venders up there. I was prepared to settle for a 510 or smokestick, but I found a great vender with a large selection, including some I'd never heard of.

I tried a couple of different models (none of them were the 510 or smokestick) and fell in love with the Totally Wicked Tornado Tank. I bought the red one. I was shocked when she asked me for the rest of my analogs, but I handed them over after I signed my name and wrote the date.

I smoked my last analog about 24 hours ago. I even went out for afternoon margaritas yesterday and this device kept me satisfied. I vaped right inside the restaurant :)

So far... I love it! It came with two batteries, two atomisers, five prefilled carts and two empty (plus charger and a couple other goodies). I've been using one atty for the tobacco prefilled carts and one for the cherry juice she gave me when I bought it (don't like this juice at all).

I am having a little bit of a problem with the cherry cart/atty at the moment. The juice is the only thing that's different. I think she said they only carry VG blend. I'm assuming that's what the cherry is, but it doesn't say on the bottle. It's not producing much, if any, vapor and it's making my throat tickle/itch. Maybe it would help if I diluted it?

The carts hold 1.1 ml of juice. I went through 3 yesterday. I don't want to run out so I placed an order with Vapealicious last night. I can't wait to try GBC and Flaming Marshmallow. I went a little crazy and got a bunch of different flavors, lol.

I also went to TW and ordered a black mega atty (with a black battery to match) and a 5 pack of empty 2.2 ml carts. I figure this should keep me set for the entire day.

Now, my question is... doesn't some of the juice get down in the atty? When I'm trying out all of these awesome flavors I don't want to get any cross contamination, but I can't really afford to buy a different atty for each flavor...

Glad to be here! Looking forward to moving out of the newbie thread soon!

Welcome , and you will do fine with the Tornado . That being said , VG tends to produce a lot of vapor , and all VG juices , does that to my throat as well . Just thinning it out won't help with that . You probably need to get some straight PG , to cut the VG down some . If that's the only juice causing you problems , just don't use it . Iv'e had several juices that gave me issues , one way or another . I just tossed them , or gave them away . There are more juices available than you can even try , before you die of old age . Good Luck .

you will do fine with the Tornado... just don't use it. Good Luck.

Thanks! I am going to have to use it until I get my Vapealicious order. That's the only thing that sucks! I'll have to figure out how to get it out of the atty, too.

I wasn't sure what the problem was. So when I ordered my juice last night, I didn't know what PG/VG blend to go for. I went with 50/50 on a couple, but the samples didn't let me choose. That should give me a little better comparison.

Hey, new vaper here in Montreal, Canada! I first got started when I decided to not smoke cancer stix for the month of February. About ten days in, I stopped by my buddy's place and he showed me this great new gadget that he had picked up while on a cruise in the Bahamas. It was the Premium brand e-cig. One puff, that's all it took and I knew then and there that I would never go back to analogs. So, it's only been about a week and a half, but I'm loving every minute of it. It's incredible too that in such a short period of time, I've managed to convert three people already.
I really look forward to Health Canada getting their heads out of their asses and approving PV's for resale, so that we can start to get the great variety of supplies up here in Canada that are available in the United States.

Welcome ShockAbsorber! I'm glad you like the Premium. I didn't. My step-mom let me borrow hers for a week. But, I went straight from smoking and didn't get my nicotine fix. There isn't a wide variety to choose from locally, here, either. I am shocked that I got a good one, because I have heard so many bad things about kits from local venders.

I guess you got yours on the internet?

I'm loving it, too. Once I get some good juice, I'm sure I'll be able to convert some of my friends that smoke analogs.

These are the stories I love most....where someone gets it right the first shot. To accomplish that quickly and economically, I found this website to be second only to being fortunate enough to visit/contact a vendor who will place your needs above money. First burden's on the seeker. The reason I signed on here instead of any other of the numerous sites....you provide the right information for accurate analysis and you'll get a ton of accurate recommendations.

Congratulations for avoiding being persuaded into fishing with a 12-ga. You did it right and now good luck with the flavors.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :)

Haha! Allyn (the lady at the ecig booth) was great! She just had me sign and date the outside of the pack. It made "the switch" a little more official.

@VinPuff68 I'm a sister, but you had no way of knowing, lol.

Hi Travillian and welcome. When you said you were a "sister" ... I thought, OMG, nuns are now vaping too? :D :D

Yeah, the Premium brand doesn't seem to be too popular. Not that I can really compare too much, the only other one that I tried was a crappy "shopping mall type" thing. Yes, I bought my kit on the net, which unfortunately costs a bundle in shipping charges. When it comes down to it though, I've been feeling so much better since I got off the analogs that I would still keep vaping even if it were to cost me more than my old habit.

He is awesome to deal with. His shop has seats and you can just go and sit down and browse!!! Also nuage vapor at Tradors world treats me great as well.

Premium brand is just a kr808. Vapor4life makes great prefilled carts for those batteries. I too went from Blu to Premium (20 flavors but the carts run out to fast) to using Vapor4 life and purchasing a eGo-t. I still use the kr808s all the time when I am out of the house as I now refill my own cartos. The only great thing about Premium was the cigarette style Pcc. I really love that!!
