Welcome! I just started about a month ago and first purchase before finding this fourm did not cut it. Found info here and happy now.

Yeah that has happened to me before... sadly it was for a motorcycle I had already purchased.

Now I research everything... almost to the point of being OCD, LOL.

Good luck to you, and keep up the vapin

Wow, over a years worth of vaping pleasure? That's fantastic :)

We's not afraid of stalkers here, lol! Glad you finally joined us vaping crazy fools here on the forum. WELCOME!

Oppps typo.... 2010 actually, so more like 2.5 months. But I am very happy to be vaping and no longer smoking analogs for sure. Still waiting to break even with all the batts/attys/juices I have tried, but the general consensus is that it will taper off over time and the savings will come.

Also, it doesn't help that I have to buy 2X's as much as a normal person bc I also buy it for my GF who was a smoker for over 10 years...

Hi Se77vN, good to see you on here buddy.

Where is Appleturkey, NM??? I grew up down around Animas, NM.

Ron

Hi Ron,

Appleturkey is really: Albuquerque, but I had a niece who called it that and it has stuck with me ever since.

Where is Animas? in Northern NM?

LOL, Appleturkey ... I LOVE it and I WILL be quoting your niece!!

Animas (Spirit) is about 70 miles south of Lordsburg below Int. 10, close to the Arizona line and just a few miles above the border. Sure do miss that part of the country!

Nice, yeah she's a cutie. Cool, I was over there a couple of months ago.... drove through and camped over at Bill Evans lake, then drove to the Gila cliff dwellings. We were going to try and goto the Turkey Creek hot springs, but decided not to.

I have been thinking of buying some land over near Quemado, is that close to Animas? I want to know more about the area... we are planning on buying the land then building an earthship once it's paid off

LOL, AKWolf is a REAL character. Always good to hear from him!

Quemado is a real small town, probably half-way between Silver City and Appleturkey. The place is absolutely beautiful and you just would not believe how many stars you can see there at night with the clean air and no city lights to blot them out.

People there are extremely friendly and as I recall there are a couple small motels and some good restaurants. Nice little town, but with emphasis on little! Its close to the Gila National Forest and in my opinion, would be a wonderful place to live.

I lived in Cloudcroft and I love New Mexico...especially the horse racing in Ruidoso.
boxerdoglover, I didn't realize there were this many of us New Mexico guys and gals on here! Ruidoso is a lot of fun and Cloudcroft is another one of those really beautiful areas!

Se77vN, you guys are making me real homesick for New Mexico!
