Swedishfish, I said I couldn't smoke regular cigarettes near my computer. I was asking about e-cigs, because I believe the smoke wouldn't bother the computer, but what about those warnings to keep them away from things with magnets and such? If I can't have it near my car keys, I wondered about the computer. Also, I wonder what the danger range is. A few feet? In the next room? Anyone know?

I am pretty sure the warning about keys has something to do with shorting out the battery.
I THINK this would only be a potential issue with loose batteries that don't have an atomizer connected.

Hopefully someone corrects me if I'm wrong.

As far as the computer, no problem, we all vape near our computer.
Many people use passthroughs to vape that are actually powered by their computer.

Oh! LOL You mean because of the automatic battery? I don't have auto batteris so I'm not sure what would set them off.

I'm not sure what I mean, automatic or not. I saw a warning on one of the websites selling stuff that warned that putting it close to stuff like your car keys could damage the microprocessor. Yes, then I thought to myself, they have USB connectors for recharging, so a computer must be OK. Duh! My excuse is, too much info in too short a time. My brain is getting fried. Sorry to cause confusion.
