Hi All,

Been vaping for a few years but need a place for good info. This looked like it!

And I am very basic in vaping though.

And cheap too. This is very important. I am on a limited budget and can't afford all the nifty tech they have now. :(

I'm open to any ideas on how to save money.

I currently make my own liquid and I'm working on a way to make batteries cheaper. But I'm open to ideas. :)

Hold on, swapping tanks.

Ahhh, that's better.

Building your own coils is very cost effective. Inexpensive atomizers such as the Kanger Subtank (and subtank mini), as well as the Aspire Triton have RBA coils that allow you to buy prebuilt coils and / or using the RBA coil - build your own coil. Of the 2 (Triton and subtank), the Subtank pricing is better and includes the RBA, whereas the Triton RBA system has to be purchased separately. I also believe the Subtank RBA is much easier to build a coil than the Triton. Rip Trippers has a Youtube video for building coils on the Subtank mini RBA - check it out.
Depending on whether you are a MTL (mouth to lung) or DLH (direct lung hit) vaper I would recommend the Triton for MTL as the Air Flow Control is much user selected, whereas the Kanger subtank is more airy.

I started with the Subtank Mini, which was incredibly airy for me as a MTL vaper. I then switched to the Nautilus, which is perfect for a MTL and later the Kayfun Lite+. I now vape by pulling the vapor directly into my lungs, which isn't something I would do as a cigarette smoker. But e-cigs don't have all of the additives that cigarettes have and it feels more natural to me - I also don't use the Nautilus any longer, as I find the air flow too restrictive.
As far as which is the right way to vape - that is personal preference. IMO, better to vape than use analogs.

Hi and welcome. The best way I know to save money is quite buying cigs and start buying juice. The second best way I know to save money is quit buying juice and start making it :) As for gear, 50 bucks would put a person into quality gear that will last a while, you don't have to blow hundreds on a custom mod.
